Additional Information: This is a projectcar (Jaguar E-type 1963) that DOESN'T RUN, has open windows and a lot of spareparts in it. It has to be transported in an enclosed carrier from Iowa to Baltimore (Port),and then be shipped to Zeebrugge or Antwerp (Belgium, Europe) in a container. Can you help me with both services ? Thanks, Jean-Marie Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: I been told that from Baltimore they only do drive on. I could handle renting a container, packing it for shipping & taking it to the port of your choice but unless there are other loads on that container it will be expensive. (3/28/2008)
Response: Thanks for your mail. I'm surprised you tell me there wouldn't be a possibility to ship a car in a container in Baltimore since someone of 'overseascarshipment' told me he could. Strange. The port where my car could be placed on a ship is not important to me, as long as I can get it in Belgium. I know it would be better to ship my car together with another car, but it's hard for me to find such an opportunity. Feel free to contact me. Sincerely, Jean-Marie (3/28/2008)
Response: May be what I been told is that in Baltimore they do the drive in shipping. I am new at this and have only delivered cars to Canada and US. I been investigating shipping a car to Nigeria from Texas where a relative of my UShip customer ships cars from Houston, Texas. He has to get at least 3 cars and a truck into a 40' trailer to make it economical enough. I will check how much it cost a container jsut for you. Do you need a broker? (3/28/2008)
Response: Thanks for your mail. Yet another company gave me an offer for the whole transport and they to speak about Baltimore. I don't seem to need a broker, since nobody told me I did. Your colleagues seem to take care of all services. Sincerely, Jean-Marie (3/29/2008)
Question: we can handle this for $2250 right from destination (4/4/2008)
Response: Thanks for your offer. Can you please tell me if your total price covers the following services? -transport on the road in an enclosed carrier from Iowa to Baltimore -20ft.container - US customs validation -loading in the container - loading on the ship -terminal handling charge -ocean freight -bunker fuel surcharge -bill of loading fee -aes charge -marine insurance with a total coverage of 10,000 USD. I ask you this because I want to know exactly what I can expect. It's better for both of us to stay good partners, isn't it? Can I pay you by paypal ? One more thing: the car has to go to Zeebrugge (not to Antwerp), but that's no big difference). Sincerely, Jean-Marie (4/4/2008)
Response: This loaded in Iowa. You will have to have a flat bed collect and load we will roll car onto container and brase and lock vehicle in container. The price is all inclusive. To the port only! add $120.26 for insurance. (4/4/2008)
Response: Thanks ! You wrote: "The price is all inclusive. To the port only!". Do you mean the port in Belgium, or in Baltimore. This makes a big difference... Sincerely, Jean-Marie (4/4/2008)
Response: in belgium (4/4/2008)
Response: Great, can you please make a formal bid on uship, so we can have a binding partnership ? Thanks, Jean-Marie (4/5/2008)
Response: ok (4/5/2008)
