Question: Hello, Tony here from Wolverine Farm Services. How soon are you looking to have this item shiped? Ballpark estimate I would say $1200 with current fuel prices. Response: Tony, Thanks for the inquiry. I am giving myself till the 3rd week in April and if I have not found a carrier by then I guess I will have to make the trip myself. So I will entertain any reasonable estimates up till that time. The distance is approximately 720 miles but Northern Michigan is abit off the mainstream trucking routes so I will have to wait and see what quotes I receive ! (3/19/2008)
Response: Thanks for the quick response. If your going to do this yourself your looking at no less than $800 in fuel. Plus 3 days worth of meals and lodging. And you also have added wear and tear on your vechicle. Just some food for thought when your considering doing it yourself. I know I am a "do-it-myself kind of guy when ever I can" unless I got a real lowball price. Get back to me when you get closer to shipping date if you decied to hire it out. Thanks for your time. Response: I would prefer hiring a uship service provider to haul the tractor- I really do not have the time right now to make the trip myself. I am flexible within a 4 week period to have this tractor delivered. Hopefully that will be enough time for someone to line up more than one load and thus reduce the cost to me ! (3/20/2008)

Question: How big is the mower? You have down length 12' I have 25ft. and need to get something else on. What is the total length you require? (3/25/2008)
Response: The mower is a 72" (six feet) mid mount mower that will either be attached to the under belly of the tractor or perhaps even strapped to the bucket of the tractor. The total length of the tractor should not be more than 12 ft with the widest part being the mower . (3/25/2008)

Response: The pickup and drop off locations are not commercial so there is no loading dock or ramps. Unless you have a way of getting the tractor on and off your trailer ,I do not think a semi trailer will be suitable . (3/26/2008)
