Additional Information: I just won this ebay auction (auction number 300122888243), the truck should be ready to be picked up early July. The seller has agreed to store the truck for a month or two, so this one can be used to fill up an empty spot on a trailer coming to Houston. I have a forklift to help unload, but most likely a winch will be needed to load. Delivery will need to be in the evenings or weekends. The seller claims the truck does have air in the tires. He also has tractors and can help with loading.

Response: Hi, I've got a truck like this in Houston, and its legth is 20 feet. I will try to get the seller to confirm the length of the truck being shipped. Based on research I've done from books and internet, I believe the weight to be near 4000 lbs. I've listed it as 4500. I don't think the seller is able to get a better estimate. Mapquest states the delivery distance is 860 miles. My dad has cars shipped on regular bases at about a dollar/mile. This is a normal rate, operational, or not, with delivery within 1-3 weeks. I do realize this is a long truck, but I'm not in a hurry to get it shipped. Basicly, I do not want a trucker to make a delivery specifically for this truck. It needs to be an extra vehicle on a trailer with the space. I know that I'm low-balling the target price, and at that price, there's no way you could deliver just this truck. Keep this in mind if you have other cars coming to Houston, and have the space. Thanks! (6/27/2007)
