  • Weight: 500 lbs
Additional Information: This bid request is for the hydrohoist boat lift only (there is no jet ski). It is made of a simple aluminum frame that will be disassembled (11'8" long). The 2 blue tanks are empty (filled with air), weigh only 100 lbs each, and are 8'x24" diam. Each tank will be separated from the frame as well. So you basically will have to transport the frame (in parts) and the 2 tanks. I'm flexible with the dates and i'm not in a rush to get delivered, so don't hesitate to bid! Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: if i can get it tues and del thurs price 325.00 need to know now (3/2/2009)
Response: ok, let me call the seller. he said it's snowing like hell this afternoon over there and ca't disassemble it today because of snow and terrible weather condition (ice cold wind). What time would you be able to pick it put tomorrow the latest? (3/2/2009)
Response: i will be in long island tues at 1 pm do you want me to bid (3/2/2009)
Response: I just spoke to the seller and he says there's unfortunately no way to have it ready by tomorrow. He can't disassemble it because of the terrible weather condition over there (30 inches of snow!) and tomorrow will be a record-breaking 6 degrees in the area (coldest day of the winter). That's why he needs 2-3 days to remove it from the boat yard, disassemble it and have it ready for pick-up on the driveway. He said the soonest would be wednesday afternoon if weather improves. When are you leaving to Florida exactly? If that's not possible this time, when will you travel to Florida the next time? I can wait, there's no rush, even a few weeks. Thus please place your bid if you think we can do it some other time, I'll accept it. The 2 tanks are separate from the frame, and may be stored vertically with straps, using minimum footage (2 sqf only). The frame also may be placed on the side wall of your trailer for minimum cargo space. PS: with no bid I can't communicate with you (3/2/2009)
Response: i do not need it disasembled i have a 23 ft boat trailer in long island tues afternoon let me know (3/2/2009)
Response: Danny, putting it on your boat trailer would indeed be perfect and saving the seller the hassle of disassembling it. But the problem is that the boat lift is currently in a boat yard in the middle of other boats and requires to be forklifed and put on the street for you to pick it up. And now there's 10 inches of snow everywhere. The only way to get it done by tomorrow would be if snow melted overnight, and this is very unlikely given the current temperature. At best wednesday given weather reports. I really want to use your services. Your bid is reasonable, you have great ratings and are obviously very communicative. I really don't know what to say, it's all about the weather that makes it such a bad timing. And also a bit the fault of the seller who should have anticipated that when putting it for sale on ebay. But he's an old man (sea captain) and I guess he didn't expect to sell it so fast. Please tell me: when is it the next time you'll travel from NY to Florida? (3/2/2009)
Response: not sure when i willbe back try to push it and let me know by 7 am they can do it if they want to (3/2/2009)
Response: I've really pushed it to the max, telling him he's actually making me loose money :-( I wish everyone had the same will and courage as you! the seller is an old man running a boat yard. i asked him if he could hire someone to do it and he answered it'd be difficult to find anyone willing to work with 10" snow. go figure... i've checked the weather conditions and tomorrow will actually be 28 degrees and pretty sunny. All i can do is pray the snow will melt overnight. about your next trip from NY to FL, do you think there's any chance this could be before April 13? (3/2/2009)
Question: hi, my name is scott,i might be going to fla in the next few weeks. i can take it down for you. still looking? thanx (3/2/2009)
Response: i'm still shopping, thus yes, please place your bid. and provide a more specific timeframe. thanks! (3/2/2009)
Response: ok i will, give me about 3 days and ill let you know.thanx scott (3/2/2009)
Response: alright (3/2/2009)
Response: im just trying to get some other stuff going and coming back. thanx scott (3/2/2009)
Response: no prob, take your time (3/2/2009)
Question: I could do it for your book it now price if you were wanting to accept. Thanks Ted (3/2/2009)
Response: what's the length of your trailer? (3/2/2009)
Response: 12ft v-nose, so about 14 in the center. (3/2/2009)
Response: when would you be leaving to FL? the boat lift is currently stuck in the middle of a boat yard and the seller needs to wait a couple of days for the 15" of snow to melt down to get access to it and forklif it to the driveway for pickup. (3/2/2009)
Response: The weekend or beginning of next week. (3/2/2009)
Response: pick up timing would be perfect. how about delivery? (3/2/2009)
Response: 2-3 days (3/3/2009)
