Additional Information:
I wanted to get a price on transporting this RV. It is located in Friendswood (near Houston) TX. It needs to go to Fillmore (near Ventura) CA. Total distance is approximately 1600 miles. I assume you would need a lowboy for this. Can be driven onto the trailer, but I don't want to have it driven to California. NOTE: Weight is an estimate.
It is ready to go anytime.
Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Can it be towed? Please see my profile. Thanks Dave at DP Tow (12/22/2007)
Question:
Would you consider having it towed to Calif. Thanks Dave@DP Tow (12/24/2007)
Response:
Hi Dave, Would you use a wheel lift, flat tow, or? Please let me know what you think will work, and give me an indication of price. Thanks, Mark (12/24/2007)
Response:
If you have a solid front axle i would use my wheel lift with axle forks if not i would use wheel lift either way the front end will be off the ground. Thanks Dave DP Tow (12/24/2007)
Response:
If you have a solid front axle i would use my wheel lift with axle forks if not i would use wheel lift either way the front end will be off the ground. It would be close to $2000. Thanks Dave DP Tow (12/24/2007)
Response:
Hi Dave, I will consider doing this, but will need to get back to you after Christmas. I will be traveling for the next 5 days. We may have to disconnect the driveshaft on the motorhome to be safe. Thanks, Mark (12/24/2007)
Response:
Yes I would take care of getting it ready for tow as long as it has good back tires. I will probably be in that area around 28th or 29th. Please let me no if that will work for you or not. Thanks and HAPPY HOLIDAYS Dave DP Tow (12/24/2007)
Question:
could pick this up for you early next week and deliver within a few days. If this works for you I will place a bid at 1.25 per mile. I have a 36ft flatbed lowboy goosneck that I will place this on. Thank You Cowboy_Haulin (12/27/2007)
Response:
Hi, Thanks for the email. Your offer sounds good, but I'm a little concerned about your lack of feedback. Do you have any references and a photo of your rig? Thanks, Mark [email removed] (12/28/2007)
Response:
Unfortunately I am just starting out, I do have one reference, I just hauled 3 1940's model Farmall Tractors to him from Southern OK to Iowa. I'm sure if you called him he would give me a very good reference as he is constantly calling trying to get me more business. As Far as pictures of my rig, I do not have any at this time, but could have some soon if you really need them. I drive a 1999 Ford F-350 4x4 Dually with a 2006 36ftx8 1/2ft PJ Gooseneck Trailer that has 3 axles and my gvwr is 26000lbs. Thank You, Brandon (12/29/2007)
Response:
Hi Brandon, Thanks for your bid. I realize that you are starting out, but I need more references or positive feedback. Thanks, Mark (This is still available to ship as of 1/1/08) (1/1/2008)
