Question:

Hi there! I noticed that you haven't accepted a bid yet. Are you still shipping? Is it the price? What do you think would be a reasonable price for your shipment. We would certainly like to help you! Please read our feedback. You will see we take great pride in all our shipments. We are fully insured and a legal carrier. April at AmericanMovingReport a Violation
Response: I am still going to ship. I am concerned that the desk was not mentioned. I also want to be sure that the people shipping are familiar with how to wrap and ship a PIANO. The bids have been quite varied, and I just want to make sure I am going to use a reputable company that will treat my mother's piano as their own. Thank you for checking April. Is the bid still valid with the desk added on?9/19/2008Report a Violation
Response: Definately the bid is still valid, will re-bid now. Desk is included. We move hundreds of pianos a year and have for 12 years. All work is fully insured. -Gabriel, AmericanMoving9/19/2008Report a Violation
Question:

Hello, We would like to transport your piano to SD. Would do for $700 including desk. Air ride padded van. 40 years experience in the moving industry with the same company. Thank you, RandyReport a Violation
Response: I would like to know your method for wrapping and packing pianos. This is an heirloom. Also, we have a desk that folds up into a large box shape H=45"xL=32" x d=21" approx. 200lbs. which I would like to send along with the piano and it's bench. Does this change the bid? Do you do all the moving personally or are you a broker? Thanks, K. Karrle9/23/2008Report a Violation
Response: Hello, Your listing says the piano is a console. The music board is removed & padded separately. The piano is then padded & shrink wrapped to keep pads in place. It is best to remove the legs from the bench if they are bolt on. Piano is then lifted onto a piano dolly & brought to truck. The van has all the necessary equipment including 16' loading ramps. The van also is equipped with a total air ride suspension. I have been with the same moving company since 1967. Our cost would include your desk. Thank you, Randy9/23/2008Report a Violation
Response: Thank you for your quick response. I will check with the Grandma and see if she's ready to ship to the Grandson. I like the sound of the packing and your positive responses on the provider directory. I will try to contact you within the next 2 days. Thanks again, Kimberly Karrle, RN9/23/2008Report a Violation
Response: Thank you Kimberly. We are working on a load going to the midwest now. We will wait to hear from you. Thank you again, Randy9/23/2008Report a Violation
Response: Great. We are ready to ship. Do you have to put in an official bid on Uship for me to respond? Thanks!9/23/2008Report a Violation
Response: Hello Kimberley, We have been working on a load back to the midwest but not having much success. We have just accepted a load going the the Southeast. We are so sorry. We were looking at American's profile and reviews. They seem to be a very good company. Only 1 negative review. Fortunately, 1 bad apple in the moving industry does not spoil the whole lot. Hope all works out for you. I will keep your listing close, as another 1 of my trucks will be empty in the Bay area soon. Thank you, Randy9/24/2008Report a Violation
Response: How soon do you expect the Bay area truck to be available? We are not in a hurry, but would like to be ready. Anything before Christmas? After reading the comments and responses, we are sure that we want to go with your company. If this works out, we have a fishing boat that needs a lift to Tennessee! Thank you for your prompt responses. I look forward to hearing about the next run to the mid-west. ~K. Karrle, RN9/24/2008Report a Violation
Response: Hi Kimberley, Thank you so much for your trust in our company. My Bay area truck will actually be empty in Redondo Beach, CA around the 8th of Oct. If I can load them back to the midwest I will let you know & mayby we will have room for the boat to Tennessee if it is not over 8' ft wide including the trailer. We will keep in touch. Thank you again, Randy 9/24/2008Report a Violation
Response: Hi Randy, I just thought I'd check one last time to see if you are available for this shipment. If not, I guess I'll try the other guys. I did have a question regarding delivery. The home is a split level (stairs wherever they decide to put it) and I was wondering if that changes the bid price. Thanks again, and I hope we can do business. 10/22/2008Report a Violation
Response: Hi Kimberly, Nice to hear from you again. You are still on my watch list. Unfortunately our loads have been going to other areas. I will empty out again 11/06 in Boise, ID. I have a truck empty now in Seattle, Wa, My son will empty out again in the LA area about 11/07. If we can get your shipment I will contact you. Thank you, Randy10/26/2008Report a Violation
