Additional Information: We are moving a portion of our household stuff to a furnished rental in FL. Biggest furniture items consist of dresser, kitchen table/chrs, 3 ntstands; also have boxes, bikes, computer, TV, etc. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment: 

Question: So you basically have a truckload of stuff, right? (7/20/2007)
Response: I'm not sure how much space I need -- I've used a couple of "estimators" and it looks like anywhere from 6-8 feet (although you should calculate!). We're moving to a mostly-furnished rental -- we are taking a lot of boxes, bikes, sports equipment, and a little furniture (as described -- kitchen table/chrs, nightstands, lamps, etc.). Question: I guess what I'm saying is..........do YOU think what you have will fit into the back of a pick up truck........I have sides built up on the full size pick up.....and a pick up does have an 8ft bed.......but those tables (kitchen and patio) a 60 inch tv, and then 55 boxes seem more like a move for a box truck, or a huge trailer I'd pull behind my pick up truck. Here's my point. I'm moving a hot tub to Carmel, Ind.........and was wondering if I should pull a trailer in order to handle your stuff. AS I'm thinking, I better just pull a trailer for your stuff. If you can get that guy to do it for $800, I would I"d have to get atleast $1200 to Florida to make any fair money on this move, my gas will be around $500 because of the weight and pulling, and then I have a place to leave the trailer there in Florida, so gas would be about $250 back, leaving me with only about $500 for 4-5 days worth of driving. I'm ready to bring the hot tub to Carmel, IN ASAP, when are you ready for pick up? (7/20/2007)
