Question: How many bedrooms and children do you have? Sometimes that would help me determine how many boxes. Also, maybe a bed or little bit of furniture? A vehicle to be taken there as well? (10/29/2007)

Response: I have one baby. The only furniture that I have is a small wooden cart (approx. 12" x 36" x 48"), a soft ottoman (approx. 12" x 36" x 18"),two bookcases (one 3 shelf case and one 2 shelf case), a two drawer filing cabinet, and the rest is pretty much smaller stuff--baby items, toys, books, clothes, home decor, etc. Most of our household items are in storage in KY. I've been staying with my folks so I just have what I brought with me and what I have accumulated over the year that my husband has been deployed. I do have a small car that I'm shipping also--I've put a deposit down with an auto transport company, but if the price was good enough, I could maybe forfeit that deposit. Hope this helps. Thanks. Response: I have a huge 24 ft enclosed trailer that can fit your car and belongings. I would bid 1700 bucks. That would include car and your belonging of a very few furniture items and who knows how many boxes you may have. Would this be reasonable? (10/30/2007)

Response: Thanks for your offer. The prices that I have received thus far from shipping companies total around $1400 for car and 800 lbs of household goods. I've paid a deposit on shipping the car that I have to consider too. I can understand if a lower price would not be worth it to you, but if you were willing to go down a bit, maybe we could work out a deal.
Thanks again.

Response: that may be two different quotes on your own. but this is just one quote that includes the labor to load and unload. a buck a mile is cheap. 1600. can't go any lower than this. (10/30/2007)

Response: You're right. This is a good offer when it includes the labor to load and unload. If I hadn't already put down a nonrefundable deposit, I'd do it in a heartbeat. What kind of time frame (both pick-up window and delivery window) would you be able to do this in? Let me now and I'll think about it for a bit.
Thanks. (10/30/2007)

Response: I am flexible on dates. However, I have no idea when you are looking to do this? After Nov. 4th? Before when? (10/30/2007)

Response: I will be back in KY by November 7th and would be happy to have it there as soon after as possible. Is this too soon?
(10/30/2007)

Response: No not at all. Only way to know is if I leave after Nov. 4th. So pick up that evening leave salt lake the next morning and delivery 3 to 5 days. How is that good for you? (10/30/2007)

Question: I am more interested in doing your shipping than the other client so excuse me for trying to plan a week out. (10/31/2007)

Response: I've been away from my computer for a while. The dates would work well. Would you be able to provide a written contract and proof of insurance, licensing, etc. before I pay the initial amount?
(10/31/2007)

Response: I considered uship bid that when you accept my bid, that is a contract. Biz license in South Salt Lake. Proof of insurance provided if you accept the bid. By the way, I never got any info about the vehicle, what kind of car? (10/31/2007)

Response: The car is a Mini Cooper and it's operable. Let me know if there is any other info you need.
Thanks. (11/1/2007)

Response: Small car that should fit so easily in trailer. Thank you!! (11/1/2007)

Response: So I am new to this and wondering a little more how it all works. After accepting a bid on Uship, do we then handle things personally from there (i.e. payment, etc.) or is that also done through the website? Any detail on how this all works that you could share would be great. Thanks. (11/1/2007)

Response: After accepting a bid, then we each will have each other contact information and talk about payment among other things as well. (11/1/2007)

Response: I know I'm asking a lot of questions--has your company done business under another name besides Fun Family Enterprises? Thanks for being patient. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can so that I can feel confident in making a commitment.
(11/1/2007)

Response: We have done a lot of moves helping families unloading and loading uhaul trucks from past ogden to utah county and park city. fun family helpers
hope this helps you (11/1/2007)

Response: Would it make a difference for you picking it up on Sunday evening vs. Monday? It's not that big of a deal, but if it makes no difference to you, Monday would be a little better for me. But really, either one could work. (11/1/2007)

Response: That's fine. No big difference to me. (11/1/2007)

Question: we can gt the shipment to KY for 1500$ for you (11/1/2007)

Response: Hey, I sent my last response thinking it was to the company I have been talking to and who have offered a bid. Sorry I responded so quickly without double checking. I am interested, however, in your offer. I have a bid that will ship my small car and household goods. They are able to take it the beginning of next week. Are you able to match this? (11/1/2007)

Response: no, we couldn't accomodate the car (11/1/2007)
