Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hello. I will have truck in Salt Lake in cpl of days. We definately can load you an bring all the stuff to MD. Is there any restrictions for the bi truck to get close to loading/unloading points. 2k is the max you can go? if its estimated 20 ft of the truck with loading/unloading and blanket wrapping all your items we maybe will need more money. Please let us know. Timing and money part. Thank you. Alex. (9/1/2009)
Response: Alex, Most (99%) of the stuff has already been professionally packed, shrikwrapped, blanketed. I really need to stay at $2k total since my company is paying for this. However, I can get you some more business out of the deal. I also have a 1996 Ford Windstar Minivan in Salt lake that I need shipped to MD. If you can do both, let me know, and let me know the total$$. I need a hard "not to exceed" price for my company. (9/1/2009)
Response: WEll, Its all duable, but Minivan its about 20ft, so, its 40 ft of the truck, basicaly, almost a full truck, well, my point is, I will try to reload stuf from one trailer to another in case that we can keep all your stuff in one trailer. You OK with 3k total? We can pick up in 2-3 days, delivery in 4-5 days. Let me know. Thank you. Alex. (9/1/2009)
Response: It sounds like a good deal to me and your feedback is good. I will need a binding quote, with a guarantee that 3k will be the maximum with no hidden charges, then I can present it to my CFO for review. (9/1/2009)
Response: HI, If I can back in to the storage close and not have lots of walking betwen truck and unit, same thing at unloading, and I may ned help from your end too, it will cost to hire movers, so, to stay in your price I probably will need help, 3K total. No other or hiden charges as long as we with specs of pulling in close to storage unit and unloading same way. Simple. Its going to be semi 18th wheeler. Thank you. Alex. (9/1/2009)
Response: OK, Alex, I'd like to do business with you. Here's the deal: At the origin in utah, there is easy drive-in, Drive-out access to the storage unit for a Semi. THe drawback is that I will not be able to be there, since I am already in MD. At the destination, there is a narrow driveway which slopes down from the road. THe truck would have to be either backed in or backed out. In a worst case scenario, the truck could be parked at the end of the driveway - it's a dead end street with a cul-de-sac and very little traffic. The good news is at the destination, I have myself and 3 strong sons to help unload. Your work there should be limited. Please let me know your decision so I can stop taking calls from other shippers. Jim (9/2/2009)
Response: OK, we can back in our out no problems, just need to make sure we can get close to it. Loading: You have car in same storage facility? And can we pick up in next 2 days ? Thank you. Alex. (9/2/2009)
Response: I can have the car at the storage facility when you are ready to pickup. I'm sure we can do it in the next couple days, but I'll need a contract covering everyhing we have discussed so my company can approve it. (9/2/2009)
Response: I can place a bid tomorrow noon, when you accept it I will send you a Invoice with explanation what and where. Simple. Thank you. Alex. And I thgink we are ready to roll tomorrow from LA. (9/3/2009)
Response: OK, sounds good. Just bear in mind that when you bid and I accept, I still need to get the invoice approved by my accounting department before I can fully commit. However, that should happen the same day I get it. I just don't have the final approval authority. Is that ok? (9/3/2009)
Response: HI. I dont know what to say. What kind of approval we talking about? So its posibly a dead bid for me? I need to know. If I commit I reserve room on truck and moving stuff from trailer to trailer. Its little more complicated. let me know whats the delema. What if for some reason it wont be approved, then what? Just a question. 2K for 20ft of the truck its a good price, I have my own motivations to take it, otherwise I wouldnt touch it. Thank you. Alex. Let me know. (9/3/2009)
Response: Just to clarify, you will be doing my minivan as well, and I will have it at the storage location? The only thing I need to be sure of is $3000 for the household goods AND the vehicle is a hard price, no surcharges, or additional fees of any kind, and I'm sure it will be approved. (9/3/2009)
Response: Yes, as we spoke before. I dont play games. Thank you. Alex. (9/3/2009)
Response: I believe you, I just need that reflected in the bid. (9/3/2009)
Response: OK, bid here means nothing, its between me and you, as soon as we exchange info, I will include everything in Invoice, I simply cant include your vehicle in the list here. Thank you. Alex. (9/3/2009)
Question: It is estimated 2,115 miles apart. And you want people to load and unload for you? Trust me on this, it will cost you in excess of $4 grand plus. Unless, you would like a self service move, meaning you load and unload, $2,800. Let me know if you are interested. If not, I understand. (9/1/2009)
Response: Thanks for your input. (9/2/2009)
Response: No problem! Good luck! (9/2/2009)
Question: Just so you know, bid in here its not a contract, I will send you contract with all the detales after you accept bid. Invoice in your Email. That includes Car and this moving items that you can submitt to your credit department. I think I explained how it works here. Simple. Thank you. Alex. (9/3/2009)
Question: Well, my bid is in place. I need to know what to do with it, THank you, Alex. (9/3/2009)
Response: My admin is in a meeting. As soon as she is out, I'll let her know and I'll accept the bid. I'm sure it won't be a problem. (9/3/2009)
Response: OK, I am here... (9/3/2009)
