Question: Hello Shipper, we are a small, independent moving company based in Iowa City, IA. We are professional full service movers with great rates. A few questions: 1. Is there anything preventing semi access at both ends? ie tight turns overheads less than 13'6" or bridges w/ weight restrictions. 2. How many stairs would be involved at each end? Response: Hi - My initial request was for a move from northern california - a town about 45 miles east of San Francisco to Central Iowa. But actually my place is in southern Iowa - Keosauqua to be exact but I tried to pick a large city that the general public would be more familiar for my ad on Uship. Youbeing from Iowa would know where Keosauqua would be... As it turns out I may be moving to Cedar Rapids late May so my load may be a little larger - a couple more bedframes and tables. Which really doesn't answer your question... The items that I need to have hauled are at a storage facility just off Hwy24 and 680 (google Concord California) packed and ready to be transferred to a truck - the destination in Iowa Keosauqua would be right off Hwy 1 on the southend of the Des Moines River (or perhaps Cedar Rapids which ever works). No stairs no bridges - but not sure about turning a semi truck around. (4/4/2007)

Question: Hello, thanks for your prompt response. We can deliver to either Keosaqua or to Cedar Rapids. We'll be in CA late april/early may. Cedar Rapids is closer and if you're moving there anyway, you may just want to have us deliver it there straight away. When were you looking to move to CR? If necessary we can store before delivery to CR. We would also be happy to deliver to Keosaqua, just let us know when and where and I'll post a bid. Our plans are still flexible as we are in the first stages of planning our west coast run. Billy (4/4/2007)

Response: Early May would be perfect pickup for me - Would you quote Walnut Creek (Concord) California to Cedar Rapids, IA. I can be flexible with your time table. If everything goes well I would be moving to Cedar Rapids late May early June. Just the same the items for my Keosauqua house need to be there by Late May - whether I move to Cedar Rapids or not - but again I can be flexible with your West Coast pickup. I can always figure out the Cedar Rapids to Keosauqua transport later... or get another quote from you at that time. (4/4/2007)
