Question: Hi, I have a truck going to Arizona today Monday 8/17 or Tuesday 8/18. It is a 24' box truck and is just about empty except for 4 medium items. Almost the entire truck is available. The estimate of 1300 cuft would just about overfill it, but your description of the items looks like there will be room to spare. I have about 4 dozen blankets and straps for securing items, and two dollies (4-wheel and 2-wheel). Sounds like you want to do the loading, but I can help out as I don't like to stand around. I can do this for your terms and price, but not less. Would need to leave at the latest Tuesday. Let me know if this works and I'll put in a bid for your amount. Thanks, Rob TheMovingCompany (8/17/2009)

Response: how wide and high is the inside of the box? how many feet do you anticipate being available? would not be able to unload in AZ until Friday mid-morning, is that a problem or do you have to get somewhere else? I imagine we would be done unloading by noon Friday. access with a car carrier is not an issue, it the pickup location you would have to back in about 50 feet or I would have to dolly things that far. wouldn't the car carrier interfere with loading? can it be dropped (supported in back with blocks) to load? the drop off location is not an issue, regular street. I could load this afternoon no later than 2PM or at 7AM Tuesday. (8/17/2009)

Response: Friday unload is fine. Box is about 7' high by about 7.5' wide, standard 24' moving box. The least amount of space that would be available is 18', probably more. Will know tonight. This afternoon is too early, am unloading soon, would have to be 7am tomorrow. Rob TheMovingCompany (8/17/2009)

Response: what kind of car carrier? would it accomodate some outdoor items like patio furniture? i was figuring 18ft in a 9' high 8' wide truck, might be really close. (8/17/2009)

Response: Can't put anything on it, it'll have a car after New Mexico. Do you have pictures of the storage space showing how full it is? Rob TheMovingCompany. (8/17/2009)

Response: not handy. are you in the area or would you have to reroute to get here? (8/17/2009)

Question: ps Is there any problem with access in your area for a 24' box truck with a car trailer? Rob TheMovingCompany (8/17/2009)

Response: no, but can the truck still be loaded with a car carrier hooked up? (8/17/2009)

Response: The trailer can be removed to use the ramp but it does still need to be nearby. There is no car on the trailer. Rob TheMovingCompany (8/17/2009)

Response: no problem at all, you can drop the trailer in the storage facility parking lot an back up to the storage unit, then drop the trailer at the AZ location right on the street. (8/17/2009)

Question: Can help you out for $1600. Huge 24 ft enclosed trailer, 7 ft high and 8 ft wide. Could meet you in the morning if you need to book now. (8/17/2009)

Response: thanks, a good offer but over my budget. (8/17/2009)

Response: got to think about an extra 2 days almost waiting til friday to unload. how about 1500? (8/17/2009)

Response: i have a car i will be driving out, no need to load tuesday, you could leave when i do and get theer at roughly the same time. If i am taking only the car i will most likely drive straight thru, we have 2 drivers. could load wednesday or thur. i really have to sick to my $1200 budget or do it myself. The cost of a 24' truck one way and fuel is only $800. this obviously only makes sense for someone going that route already that has extra space. like i said, your offer is more than fair, just does not fit my limited budget. (8/17/2009)

Response: well. I have about 20 uhaul blankets. if u need more then you would need to get more. like I said, 24 ft enclosed trailer about 7 ft high inside aand 8feet wide. driving thru denver tonight so may be willing to help you out a bit for 1200. I am not going to help you load but I am sure you can load in less than 2 hours? (8/17/2009)

Response: i fully expect to load myself. i will have help. 2 hours to be safe :) it will have to be packed tight to fit so i am being conservative. what time are you coming through? the storage has limited hours, gates close at 9PM, cant get out after that. open again at 7AM. i cant be in AZ until friday AM, so we might be back to the wait issue if you have to leave denver tonight/tommorrow. i cant leave until thursday AM. (8/17/2009)

Response: I ll be in denver in about 2 hours. 115 miles. how big of a home move is this like a 2 or 3 bedroom house or apartment? will place a bid. (8/17/2009)

Response: it is stuff we aquired for a 3 bedroom house, but no clothes or other personal belongings, just a few appliances (refer, washer, dryer) a full 3 bedrooms of furniture, and some patio furniture. I can take the light items in my SUV. Any chace of spending the night in Denver? we are south of Denver (I25 the MM is something like 180, and it would be tough to get there in time to load tonight. additionally, at 8AM in the morning i can get them to open another gate so the trailer will fit right up to the storage. I know a 24' truck will make the tuns, but a 24 trailer on a 20' truck will not. I will go $1300 if you agree to load at 8AM, if you can work that in. (8/17/2009)

Response: Ok, we can do that. Sounds like things should fit easily inside the trailer. Will put bid in. Had to plug in computer so I can do the bid. Once you accept the bid, my wife, Patricia, is well informed of the situation and will tell you how to contact me on a different number. Will be staying in Denver tonight. Bid is coming! (8/17/2009)
