Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Hello, is there any packing to be done? at 2nd stop apt. any furniture there? Your est of 1500# is way offbut would like to submit bid anyway...bwent (4/1/2006)
Response:
How far off do you think my weight estimate is and is that because you thought I had 2 stops? I guess my description about the apartment was a little unclear. There is no apt to stop at, but the furniture, etc, in the storage unit was from a 2 bedroom apt. Would this change your estimate of weight and/or price quote? Also, there is not any packing to be done; everything is already packed. There are some loose items though. (4/1/2006)
Question:
i can easily do this for you-cost around 900 (4/1/2006)
Response:
Hi captainsteve, I was just wondering why you cancelled your bid? Is it the timing or something else? (4/1/2006)

Response:
Thank you for your bid and explanations. We are actually going to have to decline all bids right now. We've under budgeted the cost of the moving expense, so I'm changing the delivery date to a few months down the road. Thanks again. (4/3/2006)
Question:
I am looking to schedule a load for May, are you ready to accept a bid so I could have time to schedule a return load? (4/3/2006)
Response:
Actually, we didn't realize that we'd get such a quick response, and we've realized that we're not going to be able to budget the move until a few months down the road, so if you could give me an idea of how much it will cost, I'd appreciate it. Thanks. (4/3/2006)

Response:
Thank you for your info. We are hoping to be ready sometime before mid Sept. I will look over your feedback and I look forward to possibly acquiring your services. Thanks again. I'll keep in touch. (4/6/2006)
Question:
I am going to put in a bid, if you accept my bid I would ask for a 100 deposit and you will get my information and we can talk on the phone, we can then schedule the dates wether May or June or differant, the reason we want bids accepted early is to schedule return loads. thank you (4/6/2006)
Response:
Thank you for the info. We have had to change our estimated delivery date. It's become rather undecided at this time. It could be as far down the road as mid Sept. So, keep in touch with your bid info, and I'll let you know how our scheduling is going. Thanks again. (4/6/2006)
Question:
Handn't heard from you in a few days and thought you weren't interested. Capt. Steve (4/6/2006)
Response:
Sorry that I didn't get back to you sooner. This kind of communication is new to me and I don't check my email as often as I probably should. We have had to change our estimated time of delivery due to budgeting the cost. So, if it is ok with you, I would like to keep in touch for when we are ready, which will hopefully be by mid Sept. (4/6/2006)
Question:
PLEASE DO KEEP IN TOUCH (4/19/2006)
Question:
Hi-I am a Florida based HHG interstate carrier. According to Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations only a Common Household Carrier can Load/unload and transport your Household goods in a legal manner. This would require a written est. if the carrier is w/in 50 miles, an order for servive in all instances, and a detailed inventory at pick up and delivery. These laws are in place to protect YOU the shipper from possible fraud, theft and provide an avenue for claims of loss or damage. Hope your move is a pleasant one. I will "watch" as the bidding progresses. good luck (7/2/2006)
Question:
You are indicating that you are interested in a full service move (this is when the Carrier loads the truck). By law ALL Full service moves are rated by weight and a final amount can only be derived after loading and weighing. The second option is for YOU toload the truck(or hire help to assist YOU) This allows a Contract carrier to haul your household goods for a flat predetermined amount regardless of weight. Based on your description your load probably would only utilize 20-25 feet of a tractor trailer. I do these types of "self moves" for a number of freight forwarders quite often as I am based in Florida. A "self Move" is straight forward and there are no hidden costs. YOU LOAD-YOU UNLOAD one flat fee. Based on the area your moving to I could accomidate you for $2100.00 and allow you 6-8 hrs at each end to load and unload. Your goods would be covered under general freight cargo ins. (up to $100,000.00) travel time 3-7 days(at the most). Good luck w/ your move. (8/2/2006)
Question:
Do you still need this done? Can do it quickly.Need fast response.Jeff (8/17/2006)
Question:
Hello: Could it be possible picking up on Fri Sep 8th and deliver on Sun Aug 10th? Would you be willing to pay $1100? We are a moving comapny, full insurance and enclosed cargo trailer. Prompt response really appreciated. Thanks, movingfast. (8/19/2006)
Question:
I can get this done for you for $875.00 with a pick-up on the 24th if your interested. Have a great day! (9/9/2006)
Question:
Hi;Thanks for the request but I wont be heading north untill mid Oct. (9/14/2006)
Question:
THOUGHT I REMEMBERED THIS MOVE-UNFORTUNATELY ALL THE SNOW BIRDS HAVE ME BOOKED TILL OCT 20TH-IF THAT IS OK WILL DO FOR 950 (9/15/2006)
Question:
Hello-Thanks for the request to bid. I will offer that up for you, as mentioned earlier on. First-what are the Number of steps & floors of the new place please? Home or apt? If 3rd floor apt. for examole, that type of thing...We still need to come to Fla. soon, so we can stand ready w/ you. Flexible is the keyword her. We will be returning directly from Fla to WV prior to returning to Pitts.Pa. Can you aid us at all in the offloading process also? Thanks, "Toolman" :) (9/15/2006)
Question:
If you need assistance with unoading, D & D Moving would love to take care of this for you! [phone number removed]. We charge $80 an hour...please call us for details! (9/18/2006)
Question:
Are you ready yet more your move to take place? Will there be assistance in loading and unloading? If so i can help you out. Thank you for your reply (9/28/2006)
