Additional Information: The last person who transported them did an awesome job, but cannot make the trip for two weeks from today. He quoted me $0.60 per mile and can make the trip at the end of the month. I want them here as soon as possible and am looking for a deal for the two horses. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment: 

Question: I could pick up the end of next week for $1400 plus overnight rest stops. This would be a direct trip. Will that work for you? I kept my horse in Fairplay when I moved west from Maine! (6/13/2008)
Response: I would need to know what the overnight rest stops would be and how many... how long would it take to get them here? (6/13/2008)
Question: Its different and we only charge you what we pay. It would 2 overnights and they usually run from $10 - $25 per horse per night. It depends where we stay and what the owner approves. Some don't mind fairground type stops (cheaper) while others only want private stables ($25 - $30). None the less if its not safe and clean we will not stay there. (6/13/2008)
Response: So we're talking about $1500 for the trip. I'll have to see whether the sellers have decided to make the trip. They are discussing it right now. I was hoping to get a better price to make it worthwhile in getting the horses sooner, so I'll have to get back to you after we discuss the same, if that's okay. You're the first response and I was hoping to do better if they aren't going to make the trip and get a sooner date, as you know. Can I get back to you on this? (6/13/2008)
Response: Oh of coarse. I may be able to work with the price. We are going to IA to evacuate a barn and taking the horses to VA so we are unexpectedly empty returning to UT. We are just starrting to look for a return load. (6/13/2008)

Response: Yes, I agree. That is a good price. I was just looking for a better deal on someone's return trip if at all possible. Without it, they would be responsible for about this much money in gas, so I would be saving them and they would be saving me at the same time. It's just that in order for me not to go with Joe, who is a really nice guy and so good with horses (this is my third time in buying horses from Tennessee and the first people were jerks.... I don't think the horses were ever let out of the trailer type of thing)... so for another $100 I would go with Joe because I know he would be good to my horses. That's why I'm looking for a deal, or I go with Joe, and it's really that simple. I hope you understand I'm not spitting in your face, I would never do that and email, communicating in writing can be misleading because there are no facial expressions or voice hints to know how the other person is really responding... but I'll get back to you in the next couple of days, okay? Response: One needs to get a coggins and the other needs a health certificate to travel, so I am told they won't be ready until later Tuesday afternoon at the earliest... so let me know what you would charge for this if we were to be able to make it happen. Thanks! (6/14/2008)
