Additional Information: This horse is absolutely a joy to handle, and very, very sweet. He is a 20 year old Polish Arabian gelding. No problems or vices. Need to have him shipped from Coarsegold, CA (near Fresno), to Abernathy, TX (near Lubbock) by Christmas.

Questions for this shipment:

Question: What dates are you most wanting this horse picked up and delivered? What is your target price? I will be coming from Sacramento to Dallas 12-18 thru 12-22 timeframe if that would work for you. (12/6/2006)

Response: We are looking at the later part of December, however, I can run the dates by his current owner and see if that time frame would work for her. She is scheduling out his vet visit for his health certificate and coggins test, as well as having his fet trimmed before he leaves. I was hoping to get the price under $700 if possible. How many horses will you be hauling and how much space would our horse have? What type of trailer do you have? Thank you for your question. Look forward to hearing from you. (12/6/2006)

Question: I have a new 6 horse slant trailer and over 30 years driving OTR. I have had horses my entire life, love them, and know how to care for them. Each has their own "spot" in the trailer with dividers between them so they are comfortable and the most safe. I do not typically haul more than 5. I stop every night at a horse hotel so they are off the trailer, given light exercise, and in a clean stall each night. I stop about every 3 hours to water and give feed to the horses so I will not be the fastest transport, but I will provide the safest and most comfortable transport. I feed the horses that I haul very well - just like I feed my own. Sorry I had to respond this way, but for some reason I was unable to process a response the usual way. I could bring your horse for close to the amount you stated. Please let me know so I can reserve a stall on the trailer for this little lovely. (12/6/2006)

Question: I seriously doubt there is a 10 by 10 box stall on a horse trailer. He must have permits for wide loads? (12/7/2006)

Response: I noticed that too, I am sure it was a typo - his rig listing lists an 8x10 box. He would be the only horse on the rig on the way back form CA to TX, and would be able to have a little freedom of movement. Would you be able to offer similar? Your schedule will work for us as well I think. I am calling owner later this morning to confirm she will have everything in order for the trip. I appreciate you keeping up with us!
