Thank you for your bid request however, we cannot meet your target price for 2 horses. Trailhead Trucking/Equine TransportationReport a Violation
Response: I don't even know how to begin to set a target price....can you please tell me what you would charge for the distance I am asking? THat would be great! Thanks!1/27/2008Report a Violation
Response: We will be in the California area this next week, but our horses are going in a different direction. But you can expect to pay anywhere from $.90 to $1.10 a mile for 2 horses. If we were headed in the direction of the east coast I would definitely give you a bid, but we try to stay to a route and not transport these horses to many miles out of the way, this trip is long enough to begin with, I wouldn't want to add any extra. Response: If in the near future you have transport this way, please check back with me. I know this is going to be a difficult hunt, so if it works out within your timing, please e-mail me. Do you know of any company that rents trailers one way?????? I can't find any online. I would like to trasport myself, but I do not own a trailer yet. Need the money for the move and buy one later. THanks for your help.1/28/2008Report a Violation
Response: I do not think there are any companies that rent horse trailers one way. I suggest you revise your listing, take off the target price and see what happens. If we are in the area and your still needing equine transport then I will place a bid. Thank you, Donna Trailhead Trucking/Equine Transportation 1/28/2008Report a Violation

Hi i'm John from J and G Transport we are lic and insured transporters feel free to check our DOT/MC Authority we would love to transport for you we will place a bid let us no thanks,JohnReport a Violation
Response: Hi John, I am learning a lot in this search process. I have an 8 year old mare that sometimes comes up tender on her right leg (an injury not disclosed to me during purchase). How would you transport her knowing this? DO you supply travel boots or do you have any suggestions? SHe can run like the wind and flirt with the studs, but on others days, just look real funny and sore. I want to keep her and believe she is worth making the trip. Any thoughts?1/28/2008Report a Violation
Response: If she is not used to shiping boots or leg raps I would not recommend putting them on it could cause more problems we stop every 3 to 4 hrs for at leased an hour we stop every night DOT required at leased 8hrs in fair grounds or horse motels at that time we would let her get some exercise. In the trailer she will have plenty of pading to stand on and our trailer has torsion axles for a smooth ride we will make her real comfy thanks,John J and G Transport1/28/2008Report a Violation
Response: That sounds like a responsible answer and I appreciate it very much!!!! I am happy to hear that you follow DOT regs....not too many have mentions that yet. I am still researching and will probably have more questions for you. Thank you very much!!! 1/28/2008Report a Violation
