Question: Hi,with fuel @ $4.00 a gal. and a 700mile trip,this would be(I would think)a minimum of $600.00 to a DOT LEGAL carrier ! I'd be a little concerned if you get very low bids (just my thought)about your trailer being covered if something happens along the way,or impounded if they are not DOT LEGAL . Response: trailer will be covered by us. Wear from travel, such as wheel bearing failure, tire blow out, or damage caused by a trailer tire blow out, is up to the owner.
