Questions for this shipment:

Question: what is your target price.I have a 36' flat bed (1/7/2009)
Response: How many bales do you think you could get on your flat bed and would you be able to tarp it? I would like to pay around $1.25 per mile can you meet that or beat it? (1/7/2009)
Response: yes can tarp and will do some math to see how many per load.max (1/7/2009)
Question: if my math is correct i could get 200 per load (1/7/2009)
Question: i will go and measure the trailer in morning to figure out a closer estimate in dat light this is a new trailer and have not hauled hay with it yet my old one was a little smaller.I do appologize for not being for sure but i will in morning. Thanks Alan (1/7/2009)
Response: Hey Alan, I would need to have you be able to haul at least 350 to 400 bales to make it worth me paying you a reasonable price per mile. Let me know once you re-calaulte how many bales you can approximately bring me and how much you would have to have per mile to get it here. I do not mind taking less hay .. I just cannot pay you as if you where bringing a full tractor trailer load to me. Thanks Pansy (1/7/2009)
Response: I can get around 330 on my trailer if you want i can make 2 trips and get 300 per trip let me know if that would work for you and how much your willing to pay per trip. Thanks Alan (1/8/2009)
Response: Hi Allen ... Being that you cannot pick up a full load I cannot in all fairness pay you a typical price per mile. So I worked out a approximate cost per bale estimated off of what I wanted to pay for a full load (600+ bales). I will pay you $1.60 per bale to bring it to me. I am not sure that this will be worth it to you but I can get a schneider truck to deliver a full load for not much more and I am trying to do better than a typical trucking company. I am out of town this weekend but will try to check my mail. If I can't I will get back to you Sunday eve. Thanks Allen! (1/8/2009)
Response: if you want 600 bales i wil bring you 600 bales i am in need of a start on this site (1/8/2009)
Response: Hi Allen ... Got your bid. Thank you for a very reasonable and fair offer! I am waiting to hear from a couple of other haulers. I will let you know something by the end of the weekend, sooner if possible. (1/8/2009)
Response: great just let me know and if accepted we can set up time and i might be able to get a bigger trailer in the mean time Thanks Alan (1/8/2009)
Response: Sounds good Alan! Have a great weekend! (1/8/2009)
Response: i will have info to you in just alittle bit.thanks for your patients (1/12/2009)
Response: Thanks Alen. (1/12/2009)
Response: did you get the info yet.and yes the sides will be covered as best as possible (1/12/2009)
Question: Need anymore good hay? I have some. Thanks Shotgun (1/9/2009)
Response: Hi There. What kind of hay do you have. I only feed Timothy or Orchard or a mix of the two. I will occassionally take some hay with trace amounts of Alfalfa. Thanks for contacting me! (1/9/2009)
Response: Orchard grass or a mix. And some clover. Square bales. Thanks Shotgun (1/11/2009)
Response: Hey There .. Interested in the Orchard grass or mix. Mixed with what? Price per ton? Where is it coming from or grown? How big are the bales. Are the bales tightly baled? Do you have pictures? Thanks! (1/11/2009)
Response: Orchard Grass hay 60 lb. Tight bales. String tied. $5.00 You pick up. Have between 600 and 800. thank You Shotgun (1/12/2009)
Response: Where is the hay located? Thx! (1/12/2009)
Response: Perryville Mo. Thanks Shotgun (1/12/2009)
Response: Thanks Shotgun, I have really commited myself to the load of hay I am getting from Illnois. But I will keep you in mind for my next shipment. I will most likely need another load this spring. The hay you have told me about may be gone but I will contact you anyway. Thanks for letting me know! (1/12/2009)
