Questions for this shipment:

Question: When can these be p/u and what is your target price? Thanks Terry. (9/19/2008)
Response: sorry, I forgot to include that the carrier (you) would be paid in CASH, like in real money upon arrival. :) (9/19/2008)
Question: Hello. Todd here. I think we talked a few weeks ago about this shipment. What is the overall height of the scooters? Just curious for enclosed transport. Let me know asap if you could. Then I will bid and see if we can work on this. Thanks. (9/21/2008)
Response: Yes, we did discuss this, the conclusion was that to fit in your space the windscreens would have to be taken down. So that is probably the answer you are looking for! If not, let me hear back and I can get the figure for you again. The matter got all fouled up previously, a 'co-buyer' of one of theses scooters got sent to Belgium on business and everything got delayed. Sorry... OK, there is a bid to deliver these on or about the 3rd of October. We can live with that date as the price is low, $550. I don't know if you would want the job at that figure or not. The bid is from a fellow that is 'dead heading'to a large auto auction in SC, so he is probably just getting his fuel paid for with a wee bit over. Good to hear from you... again! I was hoping I would just to explain the previous matter if nothing else! (9/21/2008)
Response: Way cheap. I can not do it for that. I was hoping to help you, but I can not work for gas $. This site and Federal law requires DOT authority and insurance to legally transport bikes and scooters accross state lines. This is not legal advice, it is what is required. Good luck and let me know if you want it done with a secure piece of mind. Thanks, Todd. (9/21/2008)
Response: I know the rate is below a profitable one for almost anyone. This guy is a car dealer, and I assume he is insured, however, I really don't know if he is legal to 'haul for hire'... hmmmm... I am a pilot, and I can fly almost anything, but I can not legally get paid to fly, I have no commercial license, at least not one that is current... so that might be a similar situation. I would welcome a bid that you can work from, and I will address these concerns with my 'co-buyer', glad you brought the matter to my attention... I think if he is not a legal transporter any insurance he had would not cover anything he was hauling illegally! (9/21/2008)
Response: I would hate to see you lose these in transit with no recourse. My price would be around $775. Let me know asap. I will be in the p/u area at the beginning of the month, give or take a few days. Thanks, Todd. (9/21/2008)
Response: I will get back to you TOMORROW. My co-buyer is only going to be here tomorrow befoe he leaves for three weeks in South America so I will know what is what very soon. Thanks for your consideration, will be in touch! (9/21/2008)
Response: Thank you very much. (9/21/2008)
Response: Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. My 'partner' could not be moved enough to get to the fee you would like. However, there is a full service carrier that comes in at $600. They seem to be competent. As of now, that is who we will untilze. Thank you for your time and trouble. I do wish you the best. (9/22/2008)
Question: I could do pick this up sometime this week and have delivered within 24 hours for $600. If this sounds reasonable please let me know and I will place my bid.. Thanks Ed (9/23/2008)
Response: This contract was let earlier today. Sorry for the delay in responding to your message. Perhaps there will be other business in the future. I intend to be moving bikes from time to time in the South East in the future. Thank you for your attention and consideration. (9/23/2008)
