Questions for this shipment:

Question: I know you specified an enclosed cargo area, but can this be shipped in the bed of a pick-up? GZ TOP. (7/11/2006)
Response: How much are you going to charge for this? Do you have a tarp to protect from rain? Are you with a business or how can you provide guarantee that this will be delivered. Sorry for the questions but I am just checking. When are you coming this way? Let me know. (7/11/2006)
Question: I would do this for your target price. Yes, I have tarps and would take reasonable precautions to protect your engine from weather and road hazzards. I have DOT and MC numbers, which means that I am a registered carrier with the feds. In order to get these numbers, a certain level of insurance must be proven to them. I am new to u-ship, so there is no feedback yet. If I bid and you accept, u-ship gives us direct contact information and you can call me and I will be happy to ease your concerns. I would plan to pick it up on 18th and deliver on the 19th or earlier if I could. I use Dodge diesel pickups and a variety of trailers, but due to the cargo on this trip, I will have a flatbed trailer with a boat and trailer on it, so the bed of my pickup is available. Let me know. Thanks. GZ TOP. (7/11/2006)
Response: Are you running by this area already or is this somewhat out of way? I have a little time so I am asking questions. This is my first with uship as well. Would you be willing to pick this up at the residential addy listed? You would probably need to just drive the truck as this house is on a steep incline with little area to drop a trailer and load. If you are willing to pick it up there then I would be willing to accept your bid. Do you require money down or payment on delivery? I would rather use paypal for payment. Thanks (7/11/2006)
Question: I have another bid out for So Cal that would make it reasonable to come that way. I would be willing to drop my trailer and just take the pick-up up to the house to get the engine. No problem. We do have some time, but I do have other bid requests out at this time. As for asking questions, fire away. I would do the same if I was dealing with a stranger who would be transporting my property. Just a little about me, I am based out of Sisters, OR and my specialty is shipping motorcycles. On this trip I have varied cargo including a boat and an old Oldsmobile. I am one of those old school guys that believes that a mans word is worth jsut as much as his signature. My bids have no hidden charges, no loading fees or unloading fees and are all inclusive. GZ TOP. (7/11/2006)
Question: By the way, no downpayment required and I would like to be paid in cash upon delivery. I do not subscribe to paypal as the charges are not worth it. I already pay an 8% fee to u-ship for all of the bids I am successful in obtaining. GZ TOP. (7/11/2006)
Response: If you can do it for 275.00 then deal. I have cherry picker here to unload at my house or I will meet at business address provided on drop. I will even buy you lunch to make it worth it. There is a good burger joint here. I can pay cash upon delivery. (7/11/2006)
Question: Sorry, $300 is a good price for this pick-up and delivery. GZ TOP. (7/12/2006)
Response: ok so put in a bid otherwise I can't accept. (7/12/2006)
