Question: Is this still required ?? (12/28/2007)

Response: I am trying to figure out a cheaper way of getting th bike. The value of the bike is only about $500.00, so the shipping exceeds the value of the 165 pound vehicle. I was hoping it could just be an add on to a shipment. So, the service is still need, just not affordable.
Thanks for your question. (12/28/2007)

Question: So what can you afford, that you think is reasonable, I have often moved bikes for more than they are reasonably worth, because in real terms they are worth more to the person who wants them,. Give me a figure. (12/29/2007)

Response: I was hoping for $150.00 or so, realizing that it would have to be an add-on to an existing shipment and I might have to travel to get to the drop-off point.
(12/29/2007)

Response: Seeing as I am gonna be pretty close to you and then on to LA how about 200 and you collect from me in LA ?? one time deal. (12/31/2007)

Response: I just now got your email. Is the offer still open? The bike is near St. Louis, and I am in Northern California. I can get to LA to pick up the bike. When would you be coming? How/where would I pick up the bike? Would the bike be enclosed or exposed in transit? I am interested.
Thanks. (1/1/2008)

Response: We are enclosed only transport co as per our profile, and there is a distinct poss that I may be able to get this right to your area as our main customer is telling me that we have pickups to do near SF, so over to you. (1/1/2008)

Response: I have not done this before, so I need to know how we finalize an agreement, and how I get you paid, etc. Please let me know so we can finalize this.
Regards. (1/1/2008)

Response: I will place a bid which you accept then from there you will have to pay a deposit and then you will be given my contact details and visa versa me yours, then the balance of the 200 is payable to me when I deliver your bike to you. (1/1/2008)

Question: I am nit trying to sound smart here just trying to help out if you can get it to 50125 and meet me in la. I will do it for $150.00 but if I had to drive out of the way several hundred miles then price would be much higher thanks good luck and Happy new year (12/29/2007)

Response: Thanks for your response. I have no control over the point of origin, butI can get to any place between Los Angeles and the Bay Area, and as far east as Reno to pick it up. The arrival date does not matter too much as there is no rush on delivery.
Regards. (12/30/2007)

Question: Hi, I can pick this up for you the end of next week in MO. If you can meet in in Los Angeles, I could do this for $370. If this will work for you, please let me know. Thank You! (1/26/2008)

Response: Thanks for your response. Actually, there are two Honda 50s. One in Ballwin, the other is in Lebanon, PA. Can you pick up both? Delivery address is the same for both.
Thanks. (1/27/2008)

Question: would $275 work for you?I am working on a shippment and could add this to it if everything works out. Thanks (1/27/2008)

Response: This bike is a great add-on as it does not take up much more room than a bicycle. I had a bid of $200.00, but the guy was in an accident and is out of commission for awhile. There is no rush on this item. Also, there is another Honda 50 in Lebanon, PA - are you starting anywhere near there? Maybe we could work something out for both?
Thanks. (1/27/2008)

Question: hi leaveing jersey end of FEB,can do both $565 cash if you can meet me in SAND.D.,an i am a legal Dot carrier, check my feed backs let me know.space is limited.thanks Indian (1/27/2008)

Response: Thanks for your bid. I would have to drive about 1,100 miles round trip to pick up the bikes and to give you the money. The $565 + the time and cost of driving to SD would be prohibitive. If the cost were lower and if I could pick up in Los Angeles - it would be better.
Thanks for your consideration.
(1/27/2008)

Response: hi is Fresno closer if so can do $565 cash, let me know if this will work.thanks Indian (1/27/2008)

Response: Cannot pay $565. Was hoping to pay $200.00 as that was a prior bid I had, but the shipper was in an accident.
Thanks for the bid. (1/28/2008)

Response: do you realise it is for doing both.an is Fresno close to you.thanks Indian (1/28/2008)

Response: Thanks for the reminder, Larry. The distance from here to Fresno is about 180 miles, but that is far better than San Diego. Are you passing through Sacramento or Stockton? When would you estimate arrival as I would have to make plans to get there. What would you charge for just the one bike from Lebanon?
Thanks.
(1/28/2008)

Response: hi i can do $343 cash an will my truck an trailer fit in front of your house.leaveing end of FEB,headed that way have other stops .let me know thanks Indian (1/28/2008)

Response: Hello Indian,
Is that $343.00 for both bikes? If yes, then I will accept the offer. I can make arrangement to pick up both bikes on the main street where offloading will be easy and access is easy.
Let me know if we have a deal.
Thanks. (1/28/2008)

Response: hi you asked about the one in Lebanon would be #343 cash or both $565 cash, let me know.thanks Indian (1/28/2008)

Response: I guess I have too many things going on. Yes, thanks for the bid from Lebanon. So, I understand that it would be $343 for the Lebanon bike and $565 for both. Sorry for my errors. Can both be brought for $450? Thanks. (1/28/2008)

Response: hi here is something to think about all your bids are for open i'm offering both enclosed so no damage from road trash, for $565 cash.let me know if this will work.thanks Indian (1/29/2008)

Response: Hello Indian,
Thanks for your interest in my shipping need. I guess we got stuck on price. So, I guess we can't do business on this one. Maybe another time.
Thanks again.
(1/31/2008)

Response: hiwould you like me to bid the $565 cash for both.let em know thanks Indian (1/29/2008)

Response: Hello Indian,
Thanks for your email. I am kind of stuck as the shipping price is good, I am sure, but higher than my budget. Would the items be brought locally or would I have to go to pick them up somewhere? When would I pay you? Can the cost be any lower?
Thanks for trying.
Regards. (1/30/2008)

Question: If there's really no rush I can, even go lower.. (1/31/2008)

Response: Yes! There is really no rush. The shipping can easily outstrip the value of these little scoots. So, if flexibility helps, I will be flexible. I have made an agreement with both sellers to keep the scoots at their places into the spring, if necessary.
THANKS! (1/31/2008)

Question: In that case both for 400. (1/31/2008)

Response: Is that your best price? (1/31/2008)

Response: On paper yes. (1/31/2008)

Response: I did not understand your response. (1/31/2008)

Response: In the bid that's my best price..Now I may get them and something may allow me to make more money while I'm in trans-it. And it might take me longer to get them to you.At which time I would be willing to discount from the bid price..So I can only go lower from from there..My Word. (1/31/2008)

Response: It seems really fair to me. I appreciate your honesty. I would like to make a formal agreement as soon as possible. Should I release the other bidders based upon what we have written here? Also, as I said, there is no rush at all, but is there any anticipation of when the bikes might arrive, so I can make sure I will be around - like not make any plans to be away for a period of time. For instance, like the last part of Feb. or the first part of March, or whatever? Please let me know about releasing the other bids.
Thanks. (1/31/2008)

Response: Last part of march...For delivery...That's what I think right now..I can't answer your other question..(machine won't) let me. (1/31/2008)

Response: Thanks for your reply. It all sounds fine. I will be looking forward to your formal bids and working with you.
(1/31/2008)

Response: I'll place bids after the 1st..You can see from my feedback I don't blow smoke..Steven. (1/31/2008)

Response: Thanks, Steven.
Looking forward to doing business with you.
Mike (1/31/2008)
