Additional Information: Thank you for the bids so far. About the width of the boat: It is 11 ft. wide at the bow and 14 ft. wide at the stern. This is a work boat and I could be loaded in a way (elevate one side of the boat on the trailer so that it sits on its edge) that would reduce the width to 12 ft in the back. Report a Violation

Response: It is a power boat with no motors. The weight is estimated but should not exceed 12,000 lbs. There is a crane on site but it will need to be coordinated that the crane operator will be there for loading the boat on your trailer. (10/20/2008)
Question: DO YOU REALIZE THERRE ARE ABOUT 4000.00 IN ESCORT CARS AND PERMITS TO MOVE A BOAT THAT WIDE?? (10/20/2008)
Response: No, I did not realize that. The boat is 11 ft. wide at the bow and 14 ft wide at the stern. I will confirm the measurements. The boat only has an operator's cabin and we were hoping that we can take this off and load the boat at an angle... is that something you have done before? Response: IF YOUR ONLY 10' TALL,THERE IS NO REASON TO REMOVE CABIN OR LOAD ON ANGLE.WIDTH IS THE CRITICAL PART.IF UNDER 14' WIDE IT WILL CUT COST TO MOVE.I GOT LOT'S OF TIME,ASK ALL YOU WANT. (10/20/2008)
Response: I am waiting on exact measurements and will find out if the cab can be unbolted easily. If the boat is loaded in an angle, we could narrow down the width. (10/21/2008)
Question: Hello shipper putting the boat on it's side at 14' wide we would then be overheight, the law doesn't allow you to go over height if not necassary, also it would include extra escorts even if they did, basically anything over 12' wide is expensive to ship this route, too bad you don't live in Texas you can go 14' wide all day long w/o escorts, thats the only state though (10/20/2008)
Response: Thank you for the information. That is good to know. So anything that is 12 ft. wide in other States will need an escort truck or just oversize permints? (10/21/2008)
Response: over 12' needs permits in every state and one escort some places 2 escorts for certain bridges and cities. 12' and under load average 3.00 per mile give or take over 12' 4.50 per mile average overheight and overwidth pretty much double possibly more depending on height and route (10/21/2008)
Question: also legal height is 13'6" and will need to give 12-18 inches for the trailer over height is more expensive (10/21/2008)
