Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi sailor, When do you want to ship? We have the equipment, experience and insurance to do the job. Price negotiable to fit schedule.I have placed a bid for 3000.00 using the u-ship " Amount to me" calculator. John(houseofboats) (3/4/2008)
Response: Sometime in May, but the schedule is not firm, yet. This is the first bid I have received, so I have nothing to compare it with, but it seems to be in the ballpark of what I expected. You win the ties, being first. Tell me about your operation. Do you move a lot of sailboats? If I can find the right guys, who aren't going to learn how on me, I'll close this deal out. (3/4/2008)
Response: Hi and thanks for the response..a lot of this u-ship is tire kicking by ship[pers and bad bidding by irresponsible shippers or freight brokers. We are legitimate..been in biz for over 30 years..I am an experienced sailor and so are my drivers. We have a boatyard in Rockport Tx and transport is a part of our business. We probably do it as well as anyone...I have seen MANY boats come and go from our yard..and if you dont pick us I can probably give you references on any other shipper out there. We have a website, etc but I can't offer that info on U-ship or I will be suspended. John(houseofboats) (3/4/2008)
Response: thanks. Give me some time to think about it, but don't go away.... (3/5/2008)
Question: Oh..I forgot to mention...I will provide refrerences and insurance documentation on bid acceptance. John(houseofboats) (3/4/2008)
