Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi, I will be driving from Iowa to California in a 1 ton van and have rom for your sofa - what price are you looking for? thanks. Bryan (8/8/2006)
Response: Hi Bryan......We dont know too much about you and just wanted a little more info .... Thanks Susan and Bob (8/9/2006)
Question: Hi, and thanks for the reply. I'm not a pro mover, just going to California to pick up a boat for return to Iowa and would like to offset my expenses. I discovered uShip recently and have done 3 shipments, all with positive feedback (bryan2) - they included a boat, an upright piano, and some parts for an electric cart. I have 80 exchanges with 100% positive feedback on eBay(sunrider12). I've lived in a small town in Iowa for 20+ years and have lots of local references. I was a paramedic for 25 years, hold a USCG captains license, have a wife and 3 grown children, and a cat. I have no problem in acceptance of any bid I make being conditional on checking references. If you have an interest in me transporting the sofa please let me know what you consider a fair price...I would be leaving soon and am considering several load options. thanks. bryan (8/9/2006)
Response: Dear Bryan.Thanks... We would like to refer our business to entrepenuers like you. After sending the e mail to you we discovered that you can read about a candidate on that same web site...good web site....We would like to have you transport....We live in a small apartment building right on the Las Vegas Strip and 3/10ths of a mile off the freeway ramp. Its a on flight carry up (courtyard not interior hallways...and our unit is exactly at the top of that short climb...It is not currently packaged and we would require no more than the bare minimum to protect it from puncture or rip in transit. How much would you ship for? We'd like to complete a deal with you and its because of your impressive background. Thanks Bob and Susan (8/9/2006)
Question: thanks again for the quick reply. It's amazing how things happen quickly - I just agreed to a shipment that will take me through the Bay area (I80) rather than the most direct route for me down I15...so I think that may take me out of any competitive bidding for your shipment. I guess another option would be to pick up my boat in Oceanside first and drop off your sofa on the return. I would be returning ASAP, but it would definately mean more time in transit - and I would need to give it a bit of thought before making a firm bid to be sure I'm not overlooking anything. But if that would be OK let me know. also, due to my limited experience I would ask you to give a price that seems fair to you - my only reference is that I moved the piano from Kansas to San Francisco for $650, and some smaller parts from Sacramento to Omaha for $300. thanks again. bryan (8/9/2006)
Response: Dear Bryan..Congrats on the San Fran Run...Bring the couch on your way back from Oceanside...We ARE NOT time sensitive on this one....Will $300 be fair? Best, Bob and Susan [phone number removed] (8/9/2006)
Question: Glad to hear it would work to deliver on the return. I'm waiting for some replies to other potential loads for the back of my van now, and if yours will produce the best $ I'll definately make a bid. The dimensions and weight suggest it would take 4 people to move it safely, would help be available at both ends? thanks. bryan (8/9/2006)
Question: Hi again, I just learned there will be a delay on my end and am unsure now when I can pick up my boat in California, so please don't anticipate a bid from me at this time. At this point I don't know my schedule, except that travel will most likely not be within your desired timeframe. I'll keep an eye on your listing in case the option still exists when the time comes. best of luck, and thanks for your consideration. bryan (8/10/2006)
Response: Hi Bryan and Thank You...but I'll reemphasize this is not a time-sensitive delivery....do you think you'll get the boat done in late August? Let us know. Bob (8/10/2006)
Question: hi do you still need this done? looks like I have to deliver a car to LasVegas in the next 3 weeks from mpls and and do this let me know thanks (8/12/2006)
Response: OK.... Lets do it....The 2nd or 3rd week would be terrific!!!.... Am on a red-eye flight to FLA tonight will re check e mail in 4 hours from now Best regards for success. Bob Flanagan (8/13/2006)
Question: hi IM waiting to hear from the car owner as he is on vacation this past week when I hear I will get back to you thanks (8/13/2006)
Response: Thats good...When do you think you'll hear? Bob and Susan (8/13/2006)
Question: Hi thanks for waiting I will be in LV on the 28-29 augest if you want this done I will Bid thanks and hope to help (8/16/2006)
Response: Do you need me to package it or is it ok with what you have? Lets go. Thanks Best regards, Susan and Bob (8/16/2006)
Question: hi there! wondering if you are still taking any interested parties on this load. i am a professional owner/operator and am looking to fill some gaps in my loads and discovered this site. looks like exactly what we both need! i am leaving iowa on 8/28 and could make delivery to vegas by 9/01 for you. let me know, thanks! (8/17/2006)
Response: Dear Angi, Can your Dad beat my Target price? This is my first time, just like you guys, the time frame works...is your Dad going to be in Burbank afterwards as i maybe will have somthing coming back from there to my house in Vegas....My secretary at "Coldwell Banker Commercial ETN on Arville Street Las Vegas can put you in touch w/me. Bob Flanagan (8/18/2006)
Question: hiya! unfortunatly we are firm on the $400 bid due to manpower time for loading/unloading expenses being included. however, the return trip maybe workable as well. we're not positive on the time frame to load out of the CA area yet. what are you looking to have moved back to vegas, and what is your timeframe for delivery? we will be firm on our timeframe closer to the 25th of this month. let us know! thanks again! this is fun, eh?! (8/18/2006)
Question: ??? (8/18/2006)
Response: Dear Ron, Please re submit the $400 bid....it expired today but several hours earlier than I thought...I am down in Florida as a volunteer for my brothers campaign for Congress and missed the deadline for uship online. Thanks Bob PS take a look at MarkFlanaganForCongress.com (8/19/2006)
