Additional Information: Boat on trailer with mast and boom. Height is approximate and length is the length of the boat without the trailer. The boat on the trailer appears to stand about 5 feet. Length on trailer is probably the length of the main mast, about 32 feet. Weight with trailer is about 2500 lbs. I would really like to bring this one home, but my wife would rather pay the shipping fee than let me take a 4 day road trip to bring it home myself. I do not have much time to get this done, because someone else might snap up this pearl before I get a shipping quote! So give me your best shot soon and we will see what we can do.

Response: Hi Jeff, Your suggested bid is in the price range I am hoping for. I do have a firm bid for the same price, that I am pursuing at this time. The carrier can pick up the boat in the next two days. I am going to contact the seller to firm up details. I am new to this process, so I and not yet sure how to proceed. Response: Totally understand. I do know the exact date to your location but it could be 9 OCT, NLT 13 OCT. I will keep you posted as I make my way there for pick up and to Viking Country. I like to plan a couple extra days for maintenance on the trailer and I take them slow. I want to get them there on time, but saftey comes first. (9/29/2009)

Response: I did not see that, but I was in the smoke shop just before it happened. Someone said about a controversial call: "That call just saved the game for the vikings." I thought "what do they mean, the Vikes are behind by 4 points?" And then I went to Menards. (9/29/2009)

Response: I read a few feedback entries which involved damaged items upon delivery. This is my first attempt to ship on this site. I just want to get the best chance for a delivery that meets or exceeds my expectations. (9/29/2009)

Response: Out of over 100 shipments I had two that claimed damage. One was a total lie by someone trying to get free shipping. The other was a misrepresented load that put me in a difficult position. Question: Good afternoon, Just checking to see if you were yet able to determine if your Scout will fit inside of my trailer. I will be at my computer for about an hour, then away until sometime after my bid expires. Hope to hear from you soon, Randy (9/30/2009)

Response: It turns out that some of the literature says the beam is 8 feet. Elswhere, it says the beam is 8'2". I think the additional 2" accounts for the rub rails. Seller says the trailer is less than the width of the boat. Do you have a trailer with an 8'6" inside width? I am just wondering if it is possible to get it in your truck. If you are not comfortable with that, that is OK. Safely backing an 8'2" trailer and boat inside of even an 8'6" space probably requires a great deal of patience ans skill. Let me know what you think. If you think you could do it, I would live to use your service. (9/30/2009)

Response: Thank you for your reply. It is too bad the seller is not able to get an accurate width of the Scout. The rear opening of our trailers are 98" and once inside goes to 100". I wouldn't mind checking the dimensions myself if I had an address. Unfortunately, contact between parties is not allowed until a bid is accepted. This often puts us in a position that does not allow us to committ to perform a service. If we do committ and things don't work out, it then makes us look bad.
