You can get insurance on uship yust fot your move.As for the uship fee it has changed and you can check this out with uship for a fee on $500.00 Might be able to move you for alittle less say about $450.00 and you pay uship fee. Let me see what i can find out. Thank You Again BOB (5/25/2007)
Question: hi I have founf the fees uship charges. Tier $.01-$300.00 12.9% $300.00-$700.00 9.9% $700.00-$2000.00 6.9% $2000.00+3.9% $2500.00 = $187.50 So with your bid of $500.00 x 9.9% is $49.50 total of $549.50 I hope this helps you. Thank You Bob (5/25/2007)

Question: We are leaving Thursday from the North East and going to Orlando FL...would love to deliver your boat. Please let me know asap if you still need your boat delivered. Thnks (5/29/2007)
Response: Yes, I still need the boat to be picked up on Long Island and and delivered to Mt. Pleasant, SC. Have you given me a quote yet? The timeframe works out perfectly. I need to know your quote, the type of transportation you offer and if you have insurance. Regards, LOrraine (5/29/2007)
Question: Thanks for your quick response. We do have standard insurance for our vehicle which would cover your boat should anything happen. I have a new Ford 250 pick up which is more than capable for hauling this type of load. We could deliver your boat for $500...you pay the U-ship fee's (about $50.00) (5/29/2007)
Response: I've tried to look up feed back for you, none listed. Are you new to Uship? I've never used this before so I just need to figure out references and where to go from here. Where are you located, how long have you been doing this? Anything you can offer to help me make the decision. Regards, LHP (5/29/2007)
Question: I can certainely understand your concerns. Yes, this would be my first shipment. I am a semi-retired master plumber and am looking for a way to cover some expenses while I travel this summer. I can offer many personal references as well as profession references as to my character. I have been self employed for over 30 years and have done the plumbing and heating for many large hotels and box stores. I would be more than happy to speak with you personally and answer any questions you may have...how can we do that and stay within the USHIP guidelines? (5/29/2007)
Response: Two novices on uship! I don't know the answer to that but I'll try to find out. LHP (5/29/2007)
Question: A bit more info...a friend of mine was dupped at the last minute and needs to get his dog and other personal items from Orlando FL by this Friday. Since I was planning on spending my summer driving anyway, I offered to help him out if I could find a delivery or two to make along the way to help cover my expenses. I will go ahead and make a formal bid on this delivery. I hope that you will accept the bid then I believe we can exchange personal contact information. (5/29/2007)
Response: Hi, I answered the official bid thinking perhaps uship monitors this and might be able to give me some helpful hints. It seems you need positive feedback to get this going and I need a boat shipped so I think we're heading in the right direction. (5/29/2007)
Question: Thanks, I hope we can do business! (5/29/2007)
Question: Good Morning, I am making my final plans for my trip and need to know if you would like me to deliver your boat. I would be able to provide you with proof of insurance, drivers license and a cell phone. I can truly understand your concerns...you give somebody money and your property...then wonder if it will be delivered. I promise, your boat will be delivered. As I mentioned earlier I am making my final trip plans and need to know by noon today if you would like me to deliver your boat. Thank you (5/30/2007)
