Question: Hi there! I can take your baby on my next trip, with pick up on the 23rd and delivery between the 24th-25th (depending on pick up time) for $330 or on my trip after (pick up Dec. 22 with delivery Dec. 23) for $250. Let me know if you're interested. (Difference in price is because I'm almost full for this trip and do not have plans to go through Vegas....yet.) Please see my feedback for reassurance and let me know if yo have any questions. Thanks! (11/15/2007)

Response: I would much rather have him on your Nov. trip, what info do you need, and what is your procedure as far as: do you stop and exercise, what type of vehicle will you be bringing him in, will he be crated the entire trip, will you feed him, give him water? I am completely new to this aspect since he rode to Vegas with me back in 2006, of course he was just a baby, 4 mths at the time..... (11/16/2007)

Response: LOL...of course we'll feed him and give him water!!! We provide bottled water and doggie treats (if allowed). Our traveling buddies get walked/ran every time we stop for gas/restroom. (About every 3.5 hours.) We have an extended minivan so your baby won't just be stuck in the back somewhere and forgotten about until the next time we stop. Unless requested differently by their families, we rotate any babies we have out of their crates so they can enjoy the scenery, too. If we have more than one passenger, we walk them separately to avoid any confrontations...just in case. The only info I'd need from you would be the contact info of pick up and delivery and, of course, addresses for where I'm going so I can add them to my route. But I won't need that unless a "match" is made here on uship. Let me know if you have any more questions. Thanks! (11/16/2007)

Question: I apologize, but my trip next week filled this morning with two german shephards for $800. However, I've just had to schedule another trip for the week of 12/10. I could take your big baby on that trip for $260 if you want to do that one. Let me know. Thanks! (11/18/2007)

Response: So, are you doing a trip the week of the 10th and the 22nd or just one of these trips? Either would be good for me, would you mind rebidding? (11/21/2007)

Response: I am taking BOTH trips. My trip during the week of 12/11 is already almost booked and I'll be taking the southern route to TX (the 10) because of bids I've already secured. However, my trip on the 22nd is still wide open. Would you like for me to place a bid for that trip? Thanks! (11/21/2007)

Response: Yes, the latter trip would be perfect for me..that way my girls will get an extra special Christmas!!!!! Thank you so much for being patient and clarifying. (11/21/2007)

Response: No problem! As a single mother myself, I know how it is. I'll place my bid, but allow a long expiration date in case you can find someone to do it for cheaper/sooner. I would love to bring your baby, but I'd feel horrible if there was someone that could do it cheaper/sooner. I really want to lower my bid amount more to help you out, but unfortunately, I can't and still cover costs. Anyway, have a HAPPY THANKSGIVING and we look forward to seeing you at Christmas if you do decide to go with us. (11/21/2007)

Response: Thank you so much for allowing the extended expiration date. I'm new to this because he usually travels with me, but the situation didn't allow for me to take the time i needed to bring him with me, plus i would'nt have had anywhere to keep him. Thanks so much for being thoughtful and understanding. Christmas is actually perfect because my girls are expecting toys, but i know he'd trump any toy this side of heaven. (11/26/2007)

Response: Did you ever get your baby shipped? (12/30/2007)

Response: No we are still trying to work out some of the kinks. Are you still interested in bringing him? (1/2/2008)

Response: Possibly. I just put in another bid yesterday that I need to wait on though. That one would fill me up for this next trip. I'll keep watching your listing. (1/2/2008)

Response: Are you still available for transport? (1/9/2008)

Question: Inadequate insurance??? - Your dog is worth more than $1000??? (11/27/2007)

Response: I'm not being rude or pompous, but yes he is. He comes from a Grand Champion bloodline, and he as well as the rest of the pups in his litter cost much more than $1000. He did not come from a backyard breeder at all. Most American Pitbull Terrier enthusiasts will tell you that Jerry Crenshaw's Jeep is a highly respected and notable dog, and my baby is a direct descendant of Jeep. Again, I'm not trying to be rude or anything like that. You may not understand why I couldn't bring him with me when i left Las Vegas, but i'm sure you would agree with my decision if you knew what happened. Also, I may have overlooked it, but I didn't see that insurance was offered in your quote. If it was, please by all means, forgive me for the oversight. (11/27/2007)

Question: I am currently a Marine stationed in California I will be heading home for the holidays and I am from OKC, if it would be possible to get someone to meet me along I-40 with your dog and you meet me in OKC with it, then I could do it for your suggested price on the weekend of the 15th, I understand I do not have any remarks as I am new to this and would like greatly for us to be able to help eachother out. Please let me know so I can place a bid (12/6/2007)

Response: unfortunately the sender won't be able to make it to I-40 to meet you. Thanks for trying tho. May God bless and keep you. I'm a Navy veteran, by the way. (12/12/2007)

Question: can this be done at the end of January? (12/12/2007)

Response: the date is flexible, i just want him here as safely and as soon as possible without breaking my bank. What time frame in January are we looking at? (12/13/2007)

Response: Last week in January (12/13/2007)

Response: What price range are we talking about, and could you do it on or before the 24th. That's my daughters' birthday, so if i can't get him here for christmas that would also be an excellent day. (12/13/2007)

Response: I'm sorry, I just cannot be there then...I'll be leaving on that day or within a day or so of it and heading straight out there...I'll do it for $200 (12/13/2007)

Question: Would you like me to place the bid at $200 even though I can't get there until after her bday? Also, is there a crate provided? (12/15/2007)

Response: The price is perfect for me, so as long as my baby gets here the date isn't a problem. He does ahave a crate that willbe traveling with him. I would like to ask some questions though. Have you dealt with the breed? What is your shipping procedure? What do we need to provide aside from food, and a leash? Will you keep him crated the entire ride, or will you exercise him? Will you ensure that he is kept on leash when you take him out?
My dog has never been hit, or treated maliciously, and I would like to hope that you will continue with that. He walks extremely nicely on leash. I've nevr doen this before, so i really don't know what else to say or do, but if you have any questions feel free to ask. Oh yeah, he has been around my daughters all his life except for the past 3 months, so I hope that helps. (12/17/2007)

Response: I'm sorry it's taken me so long to get back in touch...went out of town for the holidays but I'm home now. I've never dealt with the breed but am very good with animals (horses, dogs, livestock, etc...) as long as he's well mannered I don't see a problem. IF he's good in the car he can sit out of his crate...If he's in his crate he'll be let out every two hours when I stop to let the horses rest, get gas, etc...He'll be in great care and always on a leash. (1/2/2008)
