Response: I dont believe a reefer would work as i dont think we could load them into one. There will be about 200-250 bales.7/29/2012Report a Violation
Response: : ok was just wondering as i have hauled cardboard bales that size but the had a loading dock and aforklift 7/29/2012Report a Violation
Response: Thanks for asking7/30/2012Report a Violation
Question:
7/30/2012
I HAVE A 35FT GOOSE NECK HOW MANY CAN FIT ON THERE AND THAT IS YOUR BUDGET TO DO a load and then i will see about doing all 10 for you i live in pillager so lets see if we can make something work thank you jeffReport a Violation
Response: Could you haul 2 across, 2 high and 7 deep or 28 total?7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: : Only up to 16000 lb and about 10 feet high7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: At 16,000 pounds we could get about 18 bales on a load, which is not very many considering the distance. We will likely haul 200-400 bales from Motley. If you want to bid on that many trips, by the load, that is fine with me. If not thanks for your interest.7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: : What is your budget for a load like that7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: I would like to get it delivered for $25/ton7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: : That would only figure out to about 200 dollars a load If my fingering is right Is that what you come up with7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: I dont have your equipment list in front of me right now...you could haul how many bales that were 5' high and 4" wide? I dont have your equipment list in front of me right now...you could haul how many bales that were 5' high and 4" wide?7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: : You had said 18 bales 7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: assuming you can get about 8 tons/load @ $25/ton...$200/load sounds about right7/30/2012In Violation
Response: : It is a 35 foot flatbed but do not want to go over 16,000 pounds I have never moved hey before so I don't know if the truck will pull it The trailer is rated for 21,0007/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: 18 bales would be about 16,000 lbs... $25/Ton for trucking would be about $200/load7/30/2012Not in Violation
Response: : I'm at your mercy as far as the price on it But at 200 dollars a load that ain't even a dollar a mile The going rate is around 3 dollars A person could do a little more because you're getting a full load at your place But 200 would hardly cover fuel If it even did that Is that the best you can do7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: small loads are hard to get to work out unless they are a backhaul....I understand if you cant make this work7/30/2012Report a Violation
Question:
7/30/2012
hi im Austin from Lonely T Farms i have a 35 foot flatbed and a single axle semi, i can haul up to 25000 pounds weight wise and im assuming around 25 bales per load, let me know what your thoughts are, thanksReport a Violation
Response: That combination would work. My question is how cost effective can you be compared to larger loads? We may have other hay purchases in the near future that could work for you as they maybe smaller and closer. If you want to bid on this job, by the load, that is fine as well.7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: : well i will be cheaper then a semi and a big trailer in the long run, you wont find a semi for 25$ a ton, due to the fact that 50000 worth of hay on a semi maximum unless heavy heavy bales does not even pay 2$ per loaded mile, a semi is usually atleast 3.50$ a loaded mile unless backhauls7/30/2012Not in Violation
Response: back hauls are fine...I do not know what you are charging so I cant make any judgements about prices7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: : I roughly charge 2.25 a loaded mile but depending route and amount of loads price can be dropped7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: i have some shorter trip around the area that might work for a smaller truck/trailer7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: : Alright depending on load amounts, has to be worth the time and drive thanks much7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: I could use a truck to haul some hay from LaCrosse to Lanesboro about 60 miles one way....what would you charge for that7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: : How many loads and what type of hay? I will be over that way friday7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: could be up to 125 mostly grass bales weigh about 900 each....have not purchesed them yet, trying to find trucking at a reasonable price we also have cattle and horses that need trucking from time to time7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: : what would be a reasonable rate for you at 60 miles? and that would be quite a few loads, round or big squares? and yes my sister hauls horses very good, cattle depends on the amount and such forth.7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: assuming we could get about 25 bales per load i would be willing to pay $125/load.. as i said we have purchased these yet, trucking is an issue7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: : that would be around my area, i was at 130, and if there is several loads guranteed then i will be interested for sure at 125, i could place a bid for one load if you get the hay.7/30/2012Report a Violation
Response: ok let me see if i can get the hay purchased tomorrow and I will let you know7/30/2012Report a Violation
