Questions for this shipment:

Question: When do you need it moved I have a 26' box truck it will fit it all, just wondering when you need it moved before I bid on it. Thanks Michael (1/30/2009)
Response: Im open/flexible on move dates. What is the inside demensions of your truck? I think the most you you fit into the truck would be 24 bales, I am capable of braking this load up, but I want it somewhat economical. (1/30/2009)
Question: Hello, I can have someone pick up for you this upcomming week and pick up all 80 bails. We have 34' open trailer. I will submit my offer in a moment. Thank you, Ken (dandodrive) (1/30/2009)
Response: Hello Ken, You've lready figured out how big the bales are. Is your 34' trailer a gooseneck? A 34' traailer should be able to hold around 21 bales. That would be 2 on first and then 1 on top. I realize this is more than one load and will pay accordingly. (1/31/2009)
Question: Please disregard the last e-mail. I see that these are quite a bit larger than I was thinking. Thanks, ken (1/30/2009)
Response: See other answer. (1/31/2009)
Question: Hello, I'm not familiar with hay bales but it seems you know what you need. I have an enclosed 53' trailer approximately rear opening of 9'x10'. Would this be of any use to you? (1/31/2009)
Response: How much will you charge per load? I may be able to get a way to load it and then go from there. The perfect hauler would be a low boy x 2. Technically, I have never hauled hay this far...it was inexpensive and I needed it for my animals, so I bought it. If need be, I haul it with a gooseneck for 4-5 loads until I get it home. Let me know what you think. (1/31/2009)
Response: Well, obviously it's a large trailer but if we can't find a way to load it well then I suppose it wouldn't be of any use to you. I am located in Lapeer. So, unless the loading and unloading is a nightmare I could do it for $900/load. You could ride up with me if you like. (1/31/2009)
Response: What is the name of the Lapeer business or person? (1/31/2009)
Response: JMS Transportation. It's not a name you would know. (1/31/2009)
Response: ok (2/1/2009)
Question: These are 4ft by 5 ft bales. Are they 4ft wide& 5 ft high or are they 5ft wide & 4ft high. 5ft wide bales are not going to fit 2 wide in a enclosed truck or trailer & will be 10 wide on open trailer. you are looking at 4 if not 5 or 6 loads on 40 ft trailer. Maybe 3-4 loads on 53 ft. (1/31/2009)
Response: These are round bales. 4' wide by 5' high -- I believe. When they are loaded, they are laid on there side, then most of the time, one on top. When I move them...I make a triangle/pyramid shape. But I have never moved this many at a time or for this distance. If it takes 3 loads...I pay for 3 loads. I have to make this happen one way or another and within reason. (2/1/2009)
Response: I have hauled a lot of round bales in my time. I know how they are stacked. I was just trying to let you & the haulers know what was involved. With 5 ft wide bales, you can get 2 rows of 7 on a 35 ft. trailer & 6 on top row for a total of 20, which will take 4 loads. Just giving some info. Thanks (2/1/2009)
Response: Are you going to bid? I know the price given is per load. The hay is coming to my farm in Otisville, MI (2/1/2009)
Response: I live west of Lansing. I don't have a load going up north right now. I have hauled enough hay years ago to not be in a rush to do it again. Thanks (2/1/2009)
Response: thanks (2/1/2009)
