Questions for this shipment:

Question: I'm trying to understand the math... Aren't these about 800 lbs.? So, 25,000, plus most of a day counting traffic, unloading, and loading, and let's say 10 gallons of fuel counting dead miles. $150? Wow - good luck with that one. (10/8/2005)
Response: Sorry Ron not sure how truckers do their math either. Okay, The semis that have picked up already could only hold 30 round rolls=1000lbs each = 30,000LBS total. I have Buyers that want: (1.) 210 rolls = 30 rolls x 7 trips in Fort Worth 76179 (2.) Quitman same as above. (3.) Austin same as above. Alot of work and money to be made. These people are farmers/ranchers and of course like everyone want the best deal possible. Sincerly Michelle (10/8/2005)
Question: No problem - I don't want to tie up my rig for that many unknowns - your math is off on loads - 210 bales would be at least 7 loads, and maybe 8 if there is a stack problem with any bales. Also, how much waiting at the customer site for them to get it unloaded. 2 loads a day, 3 max. For any interest, I'd be looking at $9 to $10 a bale. (10/9/2005)
Response: I can submit the $9-$10. a bale to the buyers but need your contact information to give them. *** We can load in 30- 45 minutes. ** Normally these ranchers are pretty handy too... (10/9/2005)
Question: My largest trailer is probably only good for 20 bales - so I'd be at a disadvantage - I haul with a 1 ton Dodge dually, with a 40' flatbed, the truck is enhanced, but I limit it to 20,000 lbs. I'd be interested, but I live in Colorado, so the project would put me in a hotel for a couple of weeks at least. I'd stick with my estimate of $10 a bale until I had a few days of work in, and offer a re-evaluation at that point. My formula tells me I'd be losing money at $7.50 a bale, so I'm probably not the low price guy for the job. (10/9/2005)
Question: Hello, my name is Jon, I have a hot shot truck and can haul 10 bails at a time the going rate for any hotshoter is 1.80 a mile not to mention big rigs w/ the price of fuel are 2.10 a mile or more. if interested plz contact me. I live in Bryan / collega sation and can run as much as you want.thanx, Jon (10/9/2005)
Response: I dont know how to delete this ad ??????????????????????????? I will need deliveries next year. I need a semi with 53 foot trailer we can load 34 bales a time.My customers want to pay $340.00 a load from Malakoff TX to Dallas areas. (10/9/2005)
