Questions for this shipment:

Question: Greetings...Kirk at Wings Horse Transport...we're leaving tomorrow from San Diego with two rigs to Florida/New York/Detroit/ and back to California...we'd be in Michigan around the 6th and we could bring your Rocky back to California with us at our fill rate of $950 door to door...more than 20 years each hauling horses across the country and a lifetime as a horseman...let me know we're in your time frame...happy trails...Kirk at Wings (11/26/2007)
Response: Hi Kirk, Sounds perhaps like a deal. What kind of trailer do you have? Do you make regular stops? When would the estimated time of arrival be? How big is your rig? I might have to meet you at Knighton Truck Stop on I-5. Larger rigs have a hard time getting in and out of my place. Please let me know. Thanks for your response. Best Wishes, Susie (11/27/2007)
Response: Hi Susie...the Norther route rig will be an '06 9-horse Sundowner that's about 45 feet long...Mitch, owner of Wings Horse Transport, will be your pilot...most of the horses are bound for Phoenix and Las Vegas for regular customers. Mitch rests the horses several times during the day and prefers to sleep in the trailer with the horses at night...when Mitch loads the horses they definitely elect him herd leader and they sleep great when they hear him up there snorring. We like the odds of keeping the horses in our rigs better than the unknown horse motels considering safety and security...and you know from horsecamping or traveling that horses don't sleep the first night in new environments...but they sleep with Mitch. He pretty much has it figured out after 20 years coast to coast with horses aboard. When and if you accept the bid, actual communication becomes allowed(?)Thanks for your interest...that is the last spot on our rigs to the West...Kirk at Wings (11/27/2007)
Question: Hi Susie...Kirk again...to answer that question (which I missed), we figure 4 or 5 days to Redding...Mitch is thinking that he'd like to head for you first and go south to Las Vegas/Phoenix after...let me know if there are any other unanswered questions...Kirk at Wings (11/27/2007)
Response: Hi Kirk, I am going to go ahead and accept your bid. It is a fair price with the cost of gas going up so much. I like the idea of Mitch staying with the horses and keeping them in the trailer. I agree that it is best and safest for the horses. I don't think he can get his rig into my place so he will need to keep in touch with me so I can meet him on I-5 at the truck stop. I have done this before with haulers and it seems to work out good for them. Thanks so much for your good communication. I will go and accept the bid now. Best Wishes, Susie (11/27/2007)
