Additional Information: Hello,
I am moving from Pewaukee WI (20 Miles west of Milwaukee) to Phoenix AZ.
I would like to get my 1994 Harley Davidson Softail Springer out to Phoenix (85024...North Phoenix) before my actual move day which is another year away. My bike is in extremely good condition with everything working properly and is titled and insured. A closed trailer is preferable but I will consider open as well.
Ideally I would like to personally be there for delivery...I will be in Phoenix on September 28th 2005 from 5:30 PM until October 3rd at 10:00 PM.
My next visit won't be until Dec 7th thru the 11th.
I have a garage to put it in or either myself or someone I could designate could pick it up at an alternate address if the timing is right.

Question: I have a FatBoy going close to you and would like to schedule these at the same time. My going rate is .85 per mile but will do this one for .65 per mile. Response: $660.00 is better than he first bid. I had no idea of the pricing having never done this before. I have had a couple of other bids a little cheaper but I also have an opportunity to include my bike with a "private" trailer going out there. {Still not confirmed however} so for now I will wait to see how that pans out. Response: Hi, Thanks for the reply. You know, I was really hoping for this to be an "add-on" to another shipment with extra space is why I was being so flexible on the timeframe...(and of course to save money since that's such a concern these days) Have you veer moved a bike and could it be done for $200-$300.00? Again, I can be extremely flexible on the pick-up and meet anywhere in the metro area..my only "problem" would be making sure a buddy could be "on call" for the delivery day in Phoenix. Question: Excellent questions you ask. Yes, I have shipped many bikes before. I own 7 of them myself, so at this point I pretty much have a system on how to safely transport them. I must say though, unless I had another pick up and delivery within a few blocks of both your pick up and delivery, even as an add on, could not do it for $300. This is a long journey. I understand your desire to save money, but my work, my service, and experience level speaks for itself. This is way too nice a bike to trust to just anyone who says they can do it. --James (9/23/2005)

Question: i have an enclosed trailer with ramp door, easy roll in and out, it would be ratchet straped down. read my feedback, profile, i am a harley owner/rider, it will be as safe as it could be. i would perfer to get there sat. iguess it would be afternoonby the time i got there. need to know soon i would have to cancel another bid i just made.
