Thanks for the bid. The bike is being delivered to Winston Salem area on Tuesday night to a friend of mine by the dealer from Florida. It would possibly be available for pickup Tuesday evening at the earliest. How late will you be in that area? Thank you--Darren

By 9 would work fine from the info I have. The dealer expects to arrive by 7:00. (probably sooner) The only concern I have is your schedule should a problem arise with the first shipper. I have a business address in Kernersville, NC rather than a residence that you could pickup. My estimation is that you could all meet at 8, unload from one truck to another and be one your way. Again, my only concern is having your schedule shaken should they have any trouble along the way. Are you prepared for that risk? I see you have great feedback. I am a picky customer and although timing might not be all that important, perfect care is. Thanks again, Darren

Well if we reverse our route then we only have one more stop after this so it shouldn't be a real big deal except maybe for the hotel room if we have to aver night and wait for it.

Sorry I haven't finished this. I am just trying to verify all details so you don't have any surprises. I am almost positive it will work great. Can I ask what type of tie-down/securing you use for motorcycles? Thanks for your patience and I will take care of as soon as I get info back from the person you will need to meet to get the bike.

No prob Darren, I think it will as long as the other guy is not too late but being a TSP I certianly know that THINGS HAPPEN and we DO NOT "TIE DOWN" ie we do not compress front forks and compress the shocks this is bad when you hit a bump and the forks try to absorb the shock the fluid has nowhere to go except around the seal. We have seen fork seals ruined this way. We secure then by a strap around the rims to stop forward and backward motion, and soft straps around the handlebars to the side of the trailer to stop side to side movement. This allows the bike to move up and down and the shocks to work the way they were intended. just a little something for you to consider. Thanks Bill & Kandy

It looks like I would be able to get everyone on board to make this work. Can you explain your insurance coverage and how it applies? I would pay in cash on delivery. The dealer will be updating me with his progress and I would then keep you posted on Tuesday. My hopes would be that you could meet in Kernersville at my friends business shortly after 6. Hit me with your best offer, insurance info and anything else to make me comfortable and we'll get it done. Thanks!

6:00 pm would proabably work good for me. We carry $50k $0 deduct cargo ins that covers your bike as soon as it is on our trailer. Best offer $500 even.
