Question: Hello, Jazzyrunner05 here. Thanks for the bid request! We just now got home from taking our leased truck back to Penske. At $1600 per month for the lease, and $900 per month for the insurance it was hardly worth having it. It got bad gas mileage, and could not pull a trailer over the mountains when even partially loaded. Plus we could not modify it, and it was hard driving long distances not being able to strech out. We thought it would work, and a 16' box truck would work for us if we could make some modifications to the box, and cab. As a leased truck they do not want you doing anything to it. Looks like we are back to the open trailer/pick up truck routine we were trying to avoid. Sigh! Well, have the best day that you can. Thanks, John/Jeanine. (7/1/2008)
