Questions for this shipment:

Question: what is your target price? (10/25/2007)
Response: $1500 - $1800 is where I would desire :-) to be... Forklift at pickup location; one could be arranged for the dropoff location... (10/25/2007)
Response: can you verify weights? seem a little high for the kodak. (10/25/2007)
Response: HP not Kodak but yeah here are the weights and things... The one item, the actual press weighs 3,000 pounds... The press itself can be moved on its wheels and also has square tubes underneath for the forks of a forklift. It is 48” x 78” x 72” high. 3,000 lbs. Cabinet is on a 24” x 36” skid and is 72” tall. 150 lbs. Accessory stuff, fragile, is on a 24” x 36” skid and is 48” tall. 250 lbs. Air conditioner for the press is on a 24” x 46” skid and is 32” tall. 200 lbs. Line transformer and rear air duct for the press is on a 24” x 36” skid and is 54” tall. 300 lbs. (10/25/2007)
Question: Does this need to be un-installed, shipped, & re-installed? (10/26/2007)
Response: It's been de-commissioned already. So, no. Just loaded and shipped - safely. Not re-installed, just unloaded. Look at details, things are palletized and specified in terms of loading and weights etc. (10/26/2007)
Question: What model press is this? (10/26/2007)
Response: Doesn't seem relevant. It's an HP press. It can be forklifted as it has the appropriate bars or will roll on its casters. Why do you need a model? (10/26/2007)
Question: Still need shipping? (10/27/2007)
Response: Hi - yeah thanks for checking in. I am still weighing out options. I am trying to confirm rolling the press up your ramp (the press is on its own casters btw) etc. is going to be safe for the press, it is quite finicky. I still think at the angle of your door and getting the press up it is a challenge and not bouncing it around. It is not a car and any small thing that gets damaged internally is going to cost big dollars later. So, just trying to double check on the best scenario here. When do you need to know at the latest? (10/27/2007)
Response: David, thanks for the update. I will be in Colorado Springs next friday and saturday. Still holding off on a couple of other jobs I can accept so I would like to finalize your shipment over the weekend if possible. Pls advise, Chris. (10/27/2007)
Response: Yeah Sorry - too bad we couldnt figure this out. I just needed to know how the press would get into your trailer, over your ramp door lip, and pushed on an incline up safely. Anyhow, Uship without phone communication is pretty difficult. Too bad. All the best. (10/29/2007)
Response: I'll be in Colorado springs friday if you change your mind and want to get this booked and on it's way. loading the press into the trailer will not be a problem. The trailer is equipped with a ramp door extension flap so the press will roll right over the "ramp door lip" you referred to. It is only a 10" incline from the base of the ramp door lip into the trailer. The rear of the trailer is also beavertailed and the 5,000# D-Ring Tie Downs and E-Track Cargo Securement System will ensure a safe transport for your equipment. Thanks for your consideration, Chris. (10/29/2007)
Response: Thanks Chris. I appreciate the details. We just might pull this off :-) I am hopeful and know it would be in safe hands with you all, I am not questioning your ability or know how in your business be sure. I haven't made up my mind one way or another and am and have been serious about you all doing the job. Things are happening fast so just trying to be sure on my end around a bunch of things. May as well ask - Do you have a photo of this specific trailer? Be good piece of marketing for you... thanks alot - David (10/29/2007)
Response: David, I have posted two photos of the trailer in my uship profile. One is of the ramp from inside the trailer looking down to the ground. The other is the ramp from the ground up into the rear of the trailer. Hope this helps, Chris. (10/29/2007)
Response: Hi Chris - Can you reactive or resubmit your bid? thx (10/29/2007)
Response: Done. (10/29/2007)
