Questions for this shipment: 

Question: What is your time frame and budget for this move? Do you have means on each end of trip to load and unload? I have low deck open trailer with 30 foot deck. Rick (1/28/2008)
Response: At the receiving end we have two docks. One has ground level sloping from 16" to 21". The other dock is 48" high (standard dock height). If schedule correctly would could always high a lift truck to remove from truck. I have been unable to confirm loading capabilities at the shipping end but will answer as soon as available. Time frame would be any time in February. We have not set a budget for this shipment. (1/28/2008)
Response: My trailer is not configured to load from a dock. Loading from the ground at the side of trailer is best. It is 24inches high, with sloped portion at end designed to roll vehicles up. The flat portion is 30 feet, so no problem there. I live in Arizona, so am flexible with loading times. Transit would be about four days. Rick (1/28/2008)
Response: That should be no problem at either end. It just requires coordination. Now all I need is a price exclusive of putting it on your truck and exclusive of taking it off, including shipping insurance. (1/28/2008)
Response: Price would be $2382.93, which includes full value cargo insurance. Loading and unloading would be your responsibility. I am available this week, if you are ready. Response: It is not as simple as it would seem. 1st of all you are supplying a dedicated truck. Secondly, I am buying a used piece of equipment that after your trucking charge is added I could buy a new tower with trucking included...and then some. Additionally some required accessories from the factory, when shipped without the tower, have a hefty price that may equal zero if ordered with a new tower. It just might be best to forget this purchase, buy new and let the factory ship. Thanks for the effort. (1/28/2008)

Response: The Factory that manufactures the hdx 555 tower charges $1000.00 (including insurance) for freight. Therefore, with your quotation, I would be better off buying new from the factory as the total cost of the tower, shipping and insurance would be less! (1/30/2008)
Question: I am loading Tommorrow from Naples Fl to Tuscon Az with an oversize boat on my 53' transport.I can safely move this (exclusive use if you want).What would you suggest for pricing.I will be heading back to a Fl load asap after unloading the later part of this week.I have 300,000.00 cargo insurance.tduncan55 (2/3/2008)
Response: I have been unable to reach the seller the last few days so I do not even know if the used item is still available! The problem stems from the fact it is so long and it is for personal, not business use. That coupled with the fact that the shipping on a new tower from the factory is about $1000 all seem to mean this project is not worth while for shipment. Chuck (2/4/2008)

Response: Try to get in touch with him,I will be in the area the weekend of the 10th.I will place a price near that....I will need some assistance loading.The tower is down I hope.I do have a 10,000lb winch and the trailer is only 2' from the ground.
