Additional Information:
Thanks for your response. Since I have declined all bids to be able to edit the listing, this is the only way I have of contacting you. Uship can be quite retarded that way, disregard everything else. Your profile says you are licensed for intrastate operations, will your insurance cover the machine if anything bad happens? Value of the machine is $22,000. thanks, if afirmative please rebid. Sorry for the confusion.
Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Thank you for your bid request but I wouldn't be able to do this in your timeframe. Thank you!! (7/30/2007)
Question:
Can you confirm the height from ground to top including the trailer is 10 feet exactly or under? If not please give the correct dimensions including the trailer. Many thanks :>) John (8/1/2007)
Response:
I was told the height of the gyro on the new trailer is 10' 7" tall. If that dimension is critical I can have the seller confirm it. (8/1/2007)
Response:
Thanks for the prompt reply. We need to be sure that the trailer isn't so high that the gyrocopter on top of it will have problems at bridges etc or require an escort was all. I have just noticed your time frame. Is that set in stone? We could do this with an early am pick up on Tuesday but not before. One other thing that concerns us is our Insurance I have a feeling anything related to aircraft etc is excluded, I am having our broker check it out and gathering a quote should this be the case. If our pick up date works then we could do this for $2236.47 inclusive of USHIP fees and would require a 50/50 payment term. If additional insurance is required then we would also need you to pay this direct before pick up. Please let us know if you would like us to make a formal bid or not on this basis. Thanks - John (8/1/2007)
Response:
Everything is OK with picking it up Thursday 2 Aug. I am more concerned that it gets here as much before 10 Aug as possible. If the insurance will cover it I will seriously consider the bid. I have no way to get cash to you by tomorrow morning for the deposit. If you have some other method for me to get a deposit to you I would entertain it. I think a $22,000 gyrocopter is a pretty solid deposit but then I do not haul things for a living. (8/1/2007)
Response:
LOL unfortunately the gas stations do not accept a rotor blade in payment :>p The serious answer here is because the margins are so thin we like to cover as many of our upfront costs as we can ie gas tolls drivers meals etc to help us keep our bids competitive. Just one thing, we wanted to pick up is next Tuesday not this Thursday (Tomorrow)delivery by 10th is not a problem as we operate a 2 driver crew. I will get back to you again as soon as I hear from our broker, but obviously we would not entertain a load like this unless we knew the correct insurance was in place and hope you understand our position on this one. We would kinda like to stay in business - Thanks John (8/1/2007)
Response:
Understood and appreciated. (8/1/2007)
Response:
Hi we have now heard from our broker and he confirms a gyrocopter would indeed be excluded. He can arrange coverage for 0.55 cents per $100 value. I hope this helps you reach a decision. Good luck either way - John (8/1/2007)
Question:
If this chopper is ready I can p/u tomorrow and deliver on the 3rd All insurance included Thanks ssmith9736 (8/1/2007)
Response:
Everything is ready, place a bid so I may consider it. $22,000 insurance required. (8/1/2007)
