Question: Good morning. I will be back North (home) by the weekend, and am looking at putting together a load for a quick return trip South. I would like to have pickups scheduled starting on Monday, 5/12, with ultimate Florida deliveries expected by the following weekend, possibly before, depending on the items destination and the time it takes to fill a load. If this timeframe would fit your needs for this, and there would be at least some assist in loading and off loading, I could get this done for you for 350 straight up, cash on del. Response: Howard, Please forgive the delay. I am trying to coordinate this shipment with my end customer. You say that you are heading to FL and my listing is for New Jersey (revised from original). Does this affect your pick up/delivery dates. Also, I don't know what help my customer will have on his end so that could be an issue. If you can, please give me a more firm date on pick up and delivery to NJ and I will commuicate with my customer Thanks for your patience. (5/8/2008)
Response: ok...thanks for the reply. To clarify..yes, I am putting togetrher a load headed South, however, historically, it takes sometimes a week to fill a load, in the meantime, rather than sitting around with my thumb up..well. I try to do what "filler" runs I can until the load fills and I hit the road. I have 2 pickups (1 in Pisstburgh, 1 in Allentown) Sunday and 1 monday in NJ. Required help on this would probably be minimal. I can pickup either Saturday morning, or late afternoon/evening, with delivery on Monday probably in the morning, as I'd maker your del before I did my pickup. Hope this helps clear things up.
