You must have experience with shipping boats larger than mine. Response: I use trip insurance my truck insurance is 50,000/100,000/100/000 liability... if you would like for me to include trip insurance for the $50,000 on your boat in my name instead of your name I can do that. That dose not make sence to me though..as to provide you with proof of my liability insureance. there is no way for me or any other service provider to do so on you ship until a bid is accepted so that we have contact with each other. to try to do so otherwize would lead to being suspended from uship......Terry CRI123 (12/3/2007)

Response: What I can afford (two F's) is a personal and private matter. Please do not make that your concern. If you are interested, please bid. I am requiring insurance and verification of the same as per instructions from U-ship. I believe this is prudent. I have several bidders who appear to have adequate insurance coverage and verfiable references. Please bid if you have insurance and adequate references. If your bidding is competitive there is no issue of affordability. (12/4/2007)

Question: Hello Shipper, Not bidding (to busy)...However, DOT/MC rules require minimum of $750,000 of liability insurance. You need that just to obtain a DOT number. So, if your bidders are DOT legal then the liability insurance is a given. Cargo insurance is not a requirement to obtain a DOT# but a good idea, I carry $50,000 with Lloyds of London and some of your bidders are carring over that...rvhauler123 (12/3/2007)

Response: Please bid your best competitive price. Pick-up needs to occur by Friday at the latest. Delivery date is flexible. I do not, however, want to boat transferred between haulers or left in some terminal. Please bid if you are interested. You can use my trailer to haul and deliver the boat to Tx.
