Questions for this shipment:

Question: Hi you need shipping again? We are headed to mass for this week and are returning to ohio after the 4th. Can you wait until then? Thanks Harry (6/29/2009)
Response: Hi, yes the service provider I went with did not communicate well, then when he did, said he had to cancel, which was inconsiderate for both me and the family who sold me the tractor. One thing to consider is that I work 3pm-midnight M-F and need to be available outside those hours to accept delivery. I do have 07/06 off all day, so that could work. Other than that, I'm flexible on dates and times. I look forward to hearing from you! Thanks, Dave (6/29/2009)
Response: Hi does the person at pick up have ramps that could load this on a 28" tall trailer? Thanks Harry (6/29/2009)
Response: No, they're not set up with ramps to a trailer, sorry. :( I hope that's not a deal-breaker. I move around my grandfather's old Gravely tractor on a home-made trailer with a built-in ramp, so I know what you mean; it's essential to have a ramp to drive it up on a flatbed. Thanks - Dave (6/29/2009)
Response: Do you have a trailer we can off load onto from mine? (7/1/2009)
Response: I'm not sure I understand your question. I do have a shed to store the tractor, but the utility trailer I have access to is being used by my cousin's husband and I don't know long it will be before I can use it. As previously mentioned, the transport trailer either has to have a hinged ramp on the rear or the whole bed needs to be able to hinge in the middle so that the rear is at ground level (like a boat trailer). I look forward to your response. Thanks - Dave (7/1/2009)
Response: Hi sorry for the confusion. I will have a large item on the back of the trailer that i con not remove. So i am trying to see if i can pick up your tractor and have it on the front of the trailer first. Then when i get to you it will have to be offloaded from the side of the trailer where i do not have ramps. Thanks Harry (7/1/2009)
Response: Boy, Harry I just don't have anything that could accomodate something like that. I'm sorry. :( Perhaps we should consider this a deal that's just not possible, I can envision how you want to do it and I just don't have anything like that.... I'm really sorry about that and you have a great feedback rating, too which is why I can trust you. (7/1/2009)
Response: I still might be able to do this for you. I will see what i can do in the next couple of days. Thanks Harry (7/1/2009)
Question: if you can give me a little time to build a trip around your tractor i'll bring it to you for 350. thanks (6/29/2009)
Response: Thanks for your comment; I'm flexible on dates. The big concerns are (1) safe shipment of the tractor, lashing it down properly, (2) good communication in advance with both myself and the folks who sold me the tractor and (3) the understanding that I must be home to take delivery of the tractor and that I work M-F 3pm-midnight. $350 seems like a fair price, I look forward to an update as you look over your alternatives and so forth. Thanks - Dave (6/29/2009)
Response: hi dave...........i see you sent over a bid request. i hope you didn't think i forgot about you? it's really competitive here!sometimes it hard to build a trip quickly but i'll get it done at the price i said. i could bid if you like with a 45 day window for pick up. will that work?? thanks (7/1/2009)
Response: 45 days is far outside the window I was looking for, but I understand that you need to be able to schedule and combine in order to be efficient. What I'll do is keep you informed about any other bids that come in that I am leaning towards, but I believe I would prefer to work with you. I hope that makes sense!!! My main concern is safe shipment of the tractor (eg, no damage in transit). Please let me know your thoughts on this. Thanks - Dave (7/1/2009)
Response: dave....i just threw that 45 days out there to make sure i cover my butt. it'll probably be before the 3rd week of july since i am heading to florida on the 24th. keep in mind i have over 4 years on here and still maintain a 100% positive rating. i keep it by doing what i say when i say i am going to do it. i am working hard to get it done. thanks (7/1/2009)
Question: I am delivering a trailer to Mass today and could haul back to you on my flatbed truck. I have car ramps to load and unload and straps to strap down with. Thanks, Paul (7/5/2009)
Response: Hi Paul, Sorry I wasn't home to see this, this morning. What price would you offer and would you be able to meet my requirement of me being home between 7a-3p M-F or all day 07/06? Also, are you using webbed straps to secure the trailer, not steel chains that would mar the finish? I see you have a very high feedback rating. Thanks, Dave (7/5/2009)
Response: I am in Waltham Mass. right now and could pick up today if ready that soon. I could haul it for three hundred fifty plus booking and would work with your schedule. I may not leave until tomorrow. Yes I have soft straps to secure it safely. Thanks, Paul (7/5/2009)
Response: Paul, I can accept that price. I suppose you'll have to make a formal bid thru Uship in order for me to prepay the deposit and get this shipment started. Is $350 the bottom line price you'll expect from me and what forms of payment do you accept? Please call my sellers, [contact information removed] The tractor requires 4-6 strap-downs and to be locked in a forward gear with the F/R pedal locked down or the parking brake locked engaged. They have the paperwork (manuals, etc) for the tractor to ship at the same time. Again, it is critical I be home anytime 07/06 or 7am-3pm after that and that you call Rob and Karen so they can schedule the time for you to be there. Thank you for your quick attention on this! Dave (7/5/2009)
Response: When could this be picked up? Thanks, Paul (7/5/2009)
Response: I was literally on the phone leaving a message with Karen that you would be calling her when a text alert came in that you had sent me an email. The message I left Karen was that it was almost certainly too late to pick up the tractor tonight, but that Monday morning would be ideal. When we tried to set up a pickup with the last service provider who disappeared and didn't get back to me until two days later, Karen was ready to hand over the tractor by 8 am. I would request you try to at least leave a message with her at her VzW cell [phone number removed] so we can facilitate this shipment and you can get your Uship stuff out of the way and that the three of us have no doubt as to what the other two will be doing (which, by the way, is why I had to list this shipment this second time...the service providers just weren't being helpful with letting me know what was going on and what they expected of me). I hope I've answered at least a part of your question! Thanks Paul - Dave (7/5/2009)
