Response: On the pick-up end, we can provide the loading help, although it will probably be my wife. She helped me get this same furniture from a trailer to a storage unit. There are only two pieces that will need two people and she can handle the help in Katy. However, for the Metairie location, this is the home of my older sister who is not in great health. I am contacting her to see if she can arrange for some help. This would, however, depend on the need for her to know about what time the delivery will be made, so she can have someone come over to the house. Response: I am sorry I was not available to answer in time for your offer to delivery on May 7. The timeframe for shipping is any day before May 19. There are no stairs at either end. However, loading help will be required at both ends. I checked loading help required at the destination, but I need to change the pick-up profile to include help. Basically, there are only 3 pieces where another adult needs to help, the flat table top, china cabinet and buffet. These are not heavy or awkward, but there will not be men available on either end to provide a small level of assistance. My sister in Metairie would like for the shipper to bring in the furniture to the house and set it in place. If you are willing to provide help at both ends, please bids. (5/6/2006)
