  • Special Handling: I am buying whole grains for my bakery, which I mill myself at the bakery; I am buying these grains directly from the farmer. This will likely be a on-going haul; once every 3 to 6 months; so I am interested in long-term business relationship here. Cost is important, so please make sure you can combine the trip with other work you have; I am very flexible with date/times; and quanitites can be flexible too.

Question: Hello. Can the bags be loaded on pallets and unloaded with a pallet jack or do they have to be unload by hand? (8/23/2008)
Response: Let's assume it's by hand; I will definately have to move them by hand on this end. So if hand lifting and loading the bags is a concern, you can give me a bid for just driving; the farmer and his son, I think, can load it; and I can unload.
