Additional Information: i am trying to beat her due date, driving up from miami to millerburg this sat. i'd like to follow you same day in my uhaul towing my car. also interested in hiring a driver if you have someone you usually travel with to drive my uhaul following your truck to hyannis. where i am meeting another trailer to ferry over to nantucket. need 2nd driver, i know i won't be able to drive fast or long enough to keep up with you, and i want to be nearby in case she delivers. my amish friends don't drive

Response: - thanxxx, i really will need to contract for a second driver as i will be exhausted from driving 20 hours from miami to millersburg, ohio to meet up with you SAT afternoon JUNE 27th, - so we can drive through the night the 13 hours from Millersburg to Hyannis - i need to be able to stay in the trailer if need be if she foals to keep the foal safe on the trip, so that also is why i need a driver for my uhaul and carrier at that time - i am a farrier so i know horses, no greenhorn here6/19/2009

We will be in that area at the end of next week. I have an extra driver on the truck already. We can transport your horse and drive your uhaul for $1200 all inclusive. Should I make a bid?

Response: yes please, i will be leaving miami on june 25 with my uhaul, it is a 20 hour drive to millersburg, ohio, and i'm giving myself until sat afternoon to get there at the earliest as i'm driving alone and i get sleepy and dizzy (hey, you gotta do what you gotta do, i've driven cross country all my life, it is just getting more difficult each time). so i'd like to meet you at millersburg saturday afternoon, june 27,and we then will be transporting in the cool of the evening overnight, if that is ok with you, this is what i'd like to do. you might have to be a bit flexible as to starting out sat evening or sunday morning - depending on my arrival time, but i can keep you posted exactly by cell phone ahead of time to tell you when i'll be there for sure.6/18/2009

Response: yes, i am, but i need to hire someone as well to drive my uhaul hauling my car and follow you in the trailer as i will be pooped from driving to millersburg, ohio. i want to keep up and i am not a good highway driver, but i boast about my country driving skills. do you have anyone in mind that would like to go along and be a driver? my mare is about to foal so i would also like the option of riding some of the time in the trailer (not all!) thanks!6/19/2009

Response: : Yes, I think I have someone to drive the uhaul. He is a CDL semi driver. Do we have to cross any ferrys, toll bridges, etc.? I am just concerned about areas that the truck and trailer may not be able to cross or that might have an extremely large fee... Thanks, Sean 6/19/2009

Response: you don't have to cross the ferry, a friend is meeting me with her trailer as she gets an agricultural discount, otherwise it is about 600!! yes! it is hard to live on an island but worth it. so no, you just have to get us to hyannis, and i need a driver as it'll take everything i have just to do the 20 to ohio myself, i'm very shaky on highways, so i'll be toast by the time i get to ohio!6/19/2009

We have a one ton F350 dually and a 16 foot livestock trailer, gooseneck. As i said my husband would drive your uhaul and I would drive our truck and trailer. We don't have any past feedback because we have never hauled off of uship before, you would actually be our first client. We have lots of experience with horses, my husband used to be a farrier and a barrel racer before he shattered his knee. He is also CDL licensed as until recently he was a truck driver over the road. A misdiagnoses from a doctor has put a slight kink in that at this point.We are good, honest people trying to start anew. We do have people that would vouge for us though.
