Questions for this shipment:
Question:
Hi, I might be able to do this for you for 500.00, Let me know what you think. Thanks, Paul (7/16/2008)
Response:
that may work. When and in what kind of trailer? Hey, could you bring a donkey too??? :) Teresa (7/16/2008)
Response:
Sorry, we are not equipped to haul livestock. The golf cart would be hauled on an open trailer or in the back of an open pickup. I would picking it up around the 4th of august and delivering it around the 8th. Give or take a day either way. Thanks, Paul (7/16/2008)
Question:
I can pick up in my enclosed hauler for 500.00 and deliver @ a week. Let me know and I will bid. Thanks (7/16/2008)
Response:
I got one for $500. If you could go 400 that would be great!! (7/16/2008)
Response:
Sorry cant do it I pay for insurance and I am a legal carrier. overhead kills me on this one cant compete. (7/17/2008)
Response:
hmmm. You may be best then. What do you mean by legal carrier? (7/17/2008)
Question:
It's not so much as to whether the peson is a legal carrier or not. There is no law saying a private party can't charge you to move your product. The big difference is he has a business license and carries a type of shipping insurance so that your product is protected from theft, accident, whatever. And he reports to the IRS. With me I am a private party that carries nothing more than the insurance that you would on your personal vehicle. If something were to happen you would be out in the cold unless I decided to do the right thing and reimburse you. I do this just to make my fuel money back because I am moving from West to East and run empty going home. That's why I am normally cheaper than the other guy. If he has insurance and everything by all means use him. America is killing the small business man, they need all the support we can give them. I'm just not in the finacial position to do so. Thanks, Paul (7/17/2008)
Question:
Please don't think I'm being pushy but do you think your going to accept my bid or go with someone else. I would like to know because if your not going to accept my bid I can bid on something else. Thanks, Paul (7/18/2008)
Response:
So sorry for the delay!!! I was out of town yesterday, but just accepted and made deposit. Look forward to talking to you and getting everything arranged. Sincerely, Teresa Donnelly Culton (7/20/2008)
