Additional Information: He's big. Actually 17.3. Fairly good hauler just needs a rig big enough to turn around in when unloading. May be a bit upset at first, has suddenly found himself attached to his neighbor, a mare. Will be sending him off with drugs as a precautionary. I will be sending him with standing wraps on. Also, I would like to send 2 bales of 4-way hay if possible. Report a Violation

Questions for this shipment:

Question: When would you be ready for transport? (3/6/2009)
Response: He will be ready within the next few days (need to administer two days of Ulcer Guaurd before the haul). (3/6/2009)
Response: Thank you very much for answering. I will be in southern california the last week of March. I wish everyone used ulcer guard for trips. It does help. thank you again. (3/6/2009)
Response: Last week of March is fine. I will be gone March 23-April 5 but my mom (horse knowledge) will be here. (3/6/2009)
Response: did you have a chance to reach a decision? Thank you (3/9/2009)
Response: I think I am going to go with the ridiculous big rig to take him. I have yet to get confirmation from the stables he's going to so if plans change and I need to find him another ride (assuming this will be a month down the road and he will have calmed down) then I will look you up! I also found a leasee for the other horse, which is Great. THanks for your GREAT bid! -SH (3/9/2009)
Response: sounds good. Just let me know if you need our services. Good luck and take care. (3/10/2009)
Question: can do this guy for you in april if you can wait that long for 1000.00 please advise and I'l put in formal bid. .thanks ben gbf (3/6/2009)
Response: I would prefer not to wait that long, but I can. Am going to see what comes up the next week but I am MORE interested in having him hauled in a rig like yours than a haul (especially the no layover thing) tomorrow in a tiny little trailer...sorry for vague answer. I leave town the 23rd of March to move but will NOT be staying in Idaho until April 5... (3/6/2009)
Response: well I'll put a bid in for the time frame we spoke about.. I understand if you have to move him the 2nd horse would be another 400.00. where we may already be going in to your stable i can help out with that price.. thanks for considering us ben gbf (3/7/2009)
Response: I'm very excited by the fact that you all don't stop every 4 hrs! I can't quite tell by the picture but is it for certain that my 17.3hh horse will fit comfortably in the trailer, as well as be able to turn around to exit? Do you have a pic of the inside of the trailer? Also, the 2nd horse for $400 is a lifesaver of a price.. he's not my horse but has been "abandoned" to me, great show jumper! I'm still trying to see if I can find him a show home here in San Diego! I'm having trouble with questions on this site... what was the time frame we talked about? I remember April but not sure when..THANKS:) (3/7/2009)
Response: the dates I put in are between the 12th and 21st for pick up we'll deliver with in 48 hrs of the day we pick up..i'm sorry I dont have pictures on the profile on the inside of my trailer but i'll try to get some moved over.. Believe me there will be plenty of room. I've had Percherons on this trailer and there is plenty of room. We're 8ft 6in wide on the inside and 7ft 6in tall.. thanks ben gbf (3/7/2009)
Response: to clarify... April 12-21st? My current trailer is 7'3" but the height wasn't so much and issue, just couldn't turn around and walk out.. and for some reason can NOT back out.. so just falls out..its a sight to see! THX (3/7/2009)
Response: WOW it must be a sight to see. Anyway the horse will have plenty of room. We have hauled Percherons in our trailer and believe me there is plenty of room. We can tie our gates up against the wall so the horse has the whole trailer to move around in. You have the dates right. If I can be there sooner I will. I understand you're under pressure to move, but I will guarentee. I won't be later than the time-slot I've given you, as Ive got to be back in Fl. by the end of the month for another load out of there... Anyway keep asking the questions if you need to .. thanks ben gbf (3/8/2009)
Response: I'm concerned with how my highly attached horse is going to fair through numerous stop overs.... (No I'm not being a silly over protective worry wart of a horse owner...he's literally gone bonkers the last week over this mare...must have had a bad weaning when he was a colt...). Anyways, do you have an estimate of how many stops you will be making along the way? Also, with the dates being so late in April, I won't be here to load him. He's not hard load, just might be busy whinnying and with his big head and voice box its big! Thanks, for your time! -SH (3/8/2009)
Response: the only stopovers we might have would be to pick up or deliver another horse. I dont know right now what that will entail as we're looking to book some more horses. In regards to layovers or anything like that we don't do it. In the last 18 mths we've laid over once.. So please dont stress over that. In regards to loading yoiur horse it won't be a problem. we can handle it.. we've had stallions of all shapes and sizes. Believe it or not one of the loudest we've had has been a mini stallion. Our Appaloosa is a herd bound mare and if she gets where she cant see the others she acts up. so its not anything we're not used to.. There is a chance we can be out there before the end of the month but i dont dare promise you that yet. If I can I will let you know asap.. thanks again ben gbf (3/8/2009)
Question: Hi there...did you intend to place a "book it now" figure on that trip?...thanks...Kirk at Wings Horse Transport (3/6/2009)
Response: I did but then changed my mind and in order to take it off I had to delete everything so.. i put in $0 hoping that would be obvious:) (3/6/2009)
Question: would you be interested in a quote from us for the last week in March? (3/6/2009)
Response: Sure thing. Could you give me a second quote for 2 horses (this one only 16.2h) (3/6/2009)
Response: I did put in a bid. Let me know what you think. Thank you (3/7/2009)
Response: I'm still trying to get more information on my horses condition (mental and physical:) to decide if he needs to be in a "Hilton on wheels" as i call it, but meaning one of those huge rigs with suites... remember he is 17.3hh! How tall is your trailer? Also, I may have to bring along the family horse that no one wants to pay for...he's 16.2 and a good hauler as well.... can you tell me what you might charge me for the 2nd horse.. same pick up and drop off location. THANKS:) (3/7/2009)
Response: I have hauled many horses of that size and larger with no problems at all. I did give a price for the second horse. Look at the whole paragraph on the first bid at the end and you will see the amount. If you decide to use our services within the next couple of days I will give a box stall to the 17.3 hand horse if that works. (3/7/2009)
Response: I'm sorry, I just to do understand how to navigate this site.. i'll go back and look. I am going to wait the weekend out, see what comes up and make a decision Monday morning! Thanks again:) (3/7/2009)
Response: I understand totally. Just give a shout when you are ready or not. If you don't pick us thank you for the time and good luck on your haul. Take Care and have a great weekend. (3/7/2009)
Question: Hello We are based in UT and can help you with your transport no prob. We have an extra tall and wide 4 horse trailer and make very direct trips. We are planning to be back on the road the firt of April. If you are intereseted I will place a bid and hope we can help you! Have a great day. (3/10/2009)
Response: I am making final arrangements today and am most likely going to go with one of the haulers (with the biggest rig!). Thank you for your communication :) (3/10/2009)
