Questions for this shipment:

Question: How long is your trailer? I'm willing to place your trailer on my trailer and haul with virtually no road miles on your trailer to California for less than current bidders. Contact me with more info (1/9/2006)
Response: I figure it's about 30 feet or nine meters. (1/9/2006)
Question: The trailer is on Long IS. NY right?and you want it taken to South of San Francisco, thats close to 3000 mi and with the toll's going to LI and all the others I would say $3000.00 would be a fair price, I would do it for $1.00 per mi ($3000.00) thank you, rtbt (1/9/2006)
Response: Yes, the trailer in on Long IS. NY. (1/9/2006)
Question: How is the costruction on George Washinton bridge and the LIE ? Last time I went to NY I spent a long time waiting in costruction traffic on the bridge and LIE (in the middle of the night) (1/12/2006)
Response: Ralph: I would not know these details, sorry. (1/12/2006)
Question: (Construction) (1/12/2006)
Response: . (1/12/2006)
Question: To the driver that is asking about traffic in the LIE, its always crap. As for asking the shipper about traffic at the pick up location, well its been my experience that the shipper is most of time located at the drop location. Makes sense huh? Shipper I can make this haul for you. I can do it for $2600 let me know! (1/12/2006)
Response: Thanks ClassAPro. Let me get back to you when things shape up. (1/12/2006)
Question: hey shipper here is food for thought if 3000 is too high go online to roadway or overnight express and see what a major trucking company would charge you then ship it fed ex even I think you would come out far beter to take one of the bids you been given so far I couldnt do this typ of pull that far for less than 1.25 a mile (1/12/2006)
Response: JourneyMan, I asked for bids, not advices. At $1.25/mi enjoy your (0). (1/12/2006)
Question: LMAO, thats funny I dont care who you are. Ouch! Hey shipper any new news yet? I am very flexable on the time, and would love just to place you in m,y schedule knowing I have a run like this set uo for FEB to ? My Jan is booked anyway. Let me know I will place that bid I gave you and we can lock this up. Again I am not in a rush either. Let me know! (1/13/2006)
Response: ClassAPro -- thanks, I appreciate it. My exact schedule will depend on several factors, some have not been finalized yet. Thanks for being flexible. I'll keep you posted. (1/13/2006)
Question: Sorry for the typo's. My hands are just too fast! lol, again let me know~! (1/13/2006)

Question: i can do this move for you for $2750 in february if that is when you want it moved thanks wilie (1/16/2006)
Question: i do not have shipping ins. but i can deliver this item in the next week going to sunnyvale CA. a couple of miles away from destoniation can do for 2000.00. contatct asap leaving monday the 23 january (1/18/2006)
Response: It won't be ready by then, sorry. (1/18/2006)
Question: Just checking in to see if you still need this shipped.... (1/19/2006)
Question: Forgive any intrusion Sir/Maam, but are you looking for your shipment to be insured? I know that some of these gliders are worth over $100,000, and unless you ask the driver to insure it, if it is being towed it may not be covered by their insurance...most companies don't fully cover towed trailers even if it is on the drivers trailer, and especially for that amount. Just thought I would mention it, seeing as I have towed a glider before and insurance (extra) can be an additional cost. Only wanting to protect you. (1/20/2006)
Response: Thanks gremlins, I do keep it in mind. (1/20/2006)
Question: I can do this move for you for 2500.00 in the next 2-3 weeks. I have all the cargo ins and Liability ins that you need. If interested let me know asap so i can get you on the schedule. (1/22/2006)
Response: Thanks pagerman00, the trailer may not be ready in the next 2-3 weeks, but if it is, I'll let you know. (1/22/2006)
Question: Thanks. IF you want me to take the glider I can take it when you are ready.. Let me know if you dont have anyone lined up.. I can take it out there when you are ready. (1/23/2006)
Response: pagerman00, nothing yet cast in stone at this point... Appreciate your offer, will keep you updated. (1/23/2006)
Question: When did you want to take that trailer to Calf.? I am thinking about going out with a truck that could pull it. How much do you want to pay? (1/25/2006)
Response: bearcat13074, the exact date is not known yet. (It doesn't take too much of a truck, BTW -- I regularly tow this trailer with my 4-cyl Camry.) (1/25/2006)
Question: If you need done yet We can do for $2500 and go any time. Have 2005 cargo van to take it with. Thanks do let us know and will make bid (1/26/2006)
Question: Hi! Now that everyone is through trying to beat each other up, here's an offer for you. $2000 point to point - you provide the added insurance and cover any tolls. I have a 1 ton F-350 hauler that I'd pick this up with but I'll likely change vehicles in Iowa and bring this west with my E-350 Ford Van. The wife has a sister in Hayward who can't travel and she'd love to ride along and see her. I'm easy to work with, have an absolutely spotless driving record and can pretty much travel whenever if I have a little notice. Let me know if this works for you and we can go from there. Thanks .... Bruce (1/26/2006)
Question: OOPS-Revised......Hi! Now that everyone is through trying to beat each other up, here's an offer for you. $2000 point to point - you provide the added insurance and cover any tolls or U-ship fees. I have a 1 ton F-350 hauler that I'd pick this up with but I'll likely change vehicles in Iowa and bring this west with my E-350 Ford Van. The wife has a sister in Hayward who can't travel and she'd love to ride along and see her. Thanks .... Bruce (1/26/2006)
Response: billiardrules -- please give me an idea how much "the added insurance and any tolls or U-ship fees" could be. OOPS-Revised......Give me the top you'd be comfortable to stick with. (1/26/2006)
Question: Hi! I would think you will need to contact whomever it is that insures your glider and tell them what we are doing. You would know better than I what the value is and if your insurance people say it's covered in transit there may be no added cost. What I'm saying here is that my insurance - while it's $300,000 - won't cover your glider as it doesn't belong to me. This would mean your provider will need to OK the transport or they will need to provide you with a trip rider or binder. As to U-Ship I think they charge about 7.9% of the total and while I think they deserve to make some money as a host site, this is a bit much. I can't absorb it [as per uShip rules all bids must be all inclusive]so long as we agree on what we are doing. I may just write to them and suggest they figure out a graduated scale for their fees. Tolls are whatever they are and can be paid on arrival. I'll keep the receipts for you. Hope this answers your questions and thanks for the prompt reply. ..... Bruce Baker (1/26/2006)
Response: Thanks Bruce, it sounds good. let me see what I can do. I'll keep you posted. (1/26/2006)
Question: Still need this shipment shipped? We get paid a dollar a mile on average. This is the industry standard! Figure 500 miles per day, for delivery and I'am charging less than the standard. If bid is acceptable to you we are booking loads now and we need to complete booking because it does take a little to prepare! / Renegade1 (1/27/2006)
Response: renegade1 -- thanks for the remainder. It won't be ready until it's ready. (1/27/2006)
Question: When were you planning on shipping this....We are on the East Coast now..... (2/1/2006)
Response: knighthawk357, it is still work in progress at this point. (2/1/2006)
Question: Thank you for your quick responce (2/1/2006)
Question: hi my name is steve i can ship this for 1850.00 if it is avalable (2/4/2006)
Response: Steve -- thanks. This shipment is still in the planning stage. I'll let you know as it evolves. (2/4/2006)
