Additional Information: These Guardrail Panels are in a business lay-down yard.

There are 40ea. panels at approx. 187 pounds each.

These panels are very rigid and are 26 ft. in length ea.

These panel do not need to be tarped, only strapped down very well.

These panel have sometimes presented a considerable challenge when loading or unloading into/from a van type trailer.

Loading point prefers at least 24hr ahead notice.

No loading on Sundays. No unloading on Saturday or Sundays.

Question: Will there be someone to load and unload? We have flatbeds. (8/25/2008)

Question: Can they be loaded tomorrow? If so I can match with another load and lower the price a bit. Still though diesel is pretty high and not a lot coming out of or to that part of the country right now. Would need to be assured that there would be no major delays on either end for loading or unloading. I can go $800 if I can make it fit around this other load. (8/25/2008)

Response: I'm going to wait. It can load tomorrow, but I have not seen the response yet to find out how the prices will bear out. I priced the load as moving at less. The shipping estimator gave an estimate around $550. Its a little too early in the game for me to spring for $800. (8/25/2008)

Response: wow..$550? Yikes.. Maybe on someone elses trailer and without the tedious load and tiedown that this will inevitably be. Ok, that leaves me out even on a haul where the other direction was paying the majority, I dont think I can pay for tires with that. Good Luck with it though.. you can probably find someone on that route empty with some extra time, eventually. (8/25/2008)

Response: Total weigth, approx. 7900 pounds, approximating heavy. There will be two bundles of 20 ea: > One Bundle is perhaps: 28' in Length; 30" in Width; 15-18" in Height. These bundles can be stacked on each other or side by side. (8/25/2008)

Response: lets do it then! I'll need you to fill out blind bills of lading, meaning that you will get from the pick-up point something that says you're sending this to me, and you'll GIVE to the delivery point something that says its coming FROM me. In other words, the pickup point doesnt get to know anything about the drop-off and the drop-off doesn't get to know anytihng about where it came from.
