Question: Hello I have a 48ft enclosed trlr pulled by Dodge 3500 which should work for you. ck my profile and let me know, Thanks Russ (7/14/2009)

Response: Good references. How do we communicate? I have more information to tell you. Is this it? (7/14/2009)

Response: Yep this is the only way we can do it for now per uship rules, untill a bid is accepted then we can chat on the phone ect. so let it fly and tell me (7/14/2009)

Response: I have 1900 cu feet of funiture according to a spreadheet sent to me by a moving company.I have double checked it and I think I'm right.
The trailer in the picture looks low. Like a lowboy. Is the furniture truck higher off the ground? The reason I'm asking is my driveway in Georgia is at about a 25%-28 slope up; San Antonio is flat. I don't think you'll be able to get the trailer up my driveway. The road in front of my house is crowned, so the transition from the road to the driveway is a bit more difficult than it would appear. Having said that, I'm in a cul-de-sac of 7 houses so it could be left in the street if necessary
How much time will you allow me to load?
I don't need to do this until late August (I plan ahead)
What does a bid acceptance require?
Great references by the way. You should be proud. (7/14/2009)

Response: well this is one of those that might be a prob unless I could see it in person. I have put it in some tight places before, and yes it is lower than trk it is a race car hauler with a rear ramp door to drive into the trlr, 86 ins wide by 7ft tall inside and 40ft of flr plus an upper deck over the bed of my trk. the trlr has wheels on the back edge so if we can get a stright shot at the driveway it will go up it. time to load is open and I can drop it for a day or two but I will be their to make sure it is loaded right anyway, if it stays over night maybe you have room for a guest. I think we can make it work. Russ (7/14/2009)

Response: Sure, you can stay here. Everything will be packed, obviously - but the price is right.
We are supposed to have help in the form of a loading supervisor. He's my wife's best friend/s nephew. He did that job for a famiy owned (his family)company in St Louis for 20 years.
The small wheels will work, you 'll have a straight shot at the drive way
There is another driveway exactly across the street
7 feet will work. Tallest thing Ive got is about 5'
This should work. I going to read the uShip user agreement, and get back to you shortly. I'm going to "book it". I would like to do this about August 21-23 if that is OK with you.
I have a excel spread sheet with all the stuff I'm shipping to SA I'll send to you when we can talk. I can also send you pictures of the drive way too.
The little wheels will do the trick I think.
Got my motorscycle too. ZRX1100 (7/14/2009)

Response: OK what do you think your book it will be with the bike and everything else (7/14/2009)

Response:
What do you mean. When or what? I dont' understand your question. How much? I thought you said $1100. Right? (7/14/2009)

Response: yes on the $1100 but you did not list the bike (7/14/2009)

Response: I don't know $100.00 for the bike? $1200 total (7/15/2009)

Response: Jack, had a few things to attend to with a very sick dog. yes on the $1200,could you give me a date you are going to do this, Thanks (7/17/2009)

Response: Hope the dog is OK. WE have to put our "old boy" down next week - he can't stand up we have to pick him up and put him on his feet. He can walk sort of.
I was out riding the motorcycle,. What a beautiful day.
Date: I was thinking Augg23rd -29th I have to line up the labor. It's a friends crew.
How do I book? Who do I talk to? It's a little confusing for a 1st time user
Thanks
(7/18/2009)

Response: Jack, the dates are fine. just try to give me 3 or 4 days notice when you have the help to do this so I can plan my trip. Next what I will do is put in my bid, you accept it and then we can exchange personal info ect. I will need to be paid in cash 25% on loading and the bal on del in S.A. If this is OK let me know and I will put the bid in. We do it this way so everybody understands. Russ (7/18/2009)

Response: 25% Cash at loading is fine, with 75% balance at delivery in San Antonio. When you put the bid in, what do I need to do? The way I read it, I give them roughly 120.00 and that is what seals the deal. Right? (7/19/2009)

Response: Bid is in ,so all you have to do is accept it and things go from there. Yes you are right, Thanks Russ (7/23/2009)

Response: Russ, I accepted your bid, and paid the deposit through Paypal-but did not get a confirmation. I just checked and your bid has expired. Please bid again and I'll just use my Mastercard. I knew I shouldn't have used Paypal.
Jack (7/25/2009)

Question: UNCLE-JACK MY BID IS IN. THANKS RUSS (7/21/2009)

Response: Russ,
When I try to pay my downpayment, it says the bid has expired.
Is the 28th of August for loading OK for you?
WHO I CONTACT @ uship to tell them I accept the bid. For a 1st time user, this system isn't real easy to use. Maybe it's me.
We will have plenty of strong help here. We are going to have all most everything in boxes and we have used shrink wrap on the furniture so we can minimize wear and tear.
Do you have any moving blankets?
Jack (8/10/2009)

Response: Yes I have a few 10-15 of them, also have three hand trks and dolly (8/11/2009)

Response: 28th of August OK ?
ARe there "cleats" or tie downs on the inside of the trailer so sections of the load can be secured ?
How long will it take you, once you leave Atlanta, to get to San Antonio?
We are going to rent a bunch-o-blankets from UHaul
Please rebid. You bid timed out before I could get the paypal problem fixed. I'm justg going to use my master card instead. I know know why I don't use Paypal.
(8/14/2009)

Response: Jack the 28th is ok and yes it has e-track on the floor and I have straps to tie down if needed. Will put in a new bid now,it is a bit more as fuel is going up every day. Hope this is OK and remember Cash works best for us on the road. Russ (8/17/2009)
