Response: There is no semi-restrictions that I am aware of. The pickup location is on a hill, so there might be some complications with that. But there is no sharp turns leading up to the house. The items are actually now in the garage so it should be easy to move out. The drop off location has some stairs leading up to the entrance of the house, but both should be picked up and dropped off on the first floor. Please let me know if you think you can offer a good quote for this. We've been a little discouraged and are leaning towards palette shipping a few of the items and tossing the rest. Response: I received your bid and it looks pretty good. I'm still not sure whether it is worth it to ship the items at that price though, or whether just to give it away. Would you be willing to go down anymore? All the things that I need shipped are shown in the picture. I estimated the weight, however, and quite honestly, I'm not sure how accurate I was in doing so. If I were to accept the bid, would I have to worry about sudden increases in price after pickup? (5/30/2007)

Response: I spoke to my mother, who has the items in her possession right now, and she said that $700.00 would be a good price. She reiterated again, however, that the desk is extremely heavy and wanted to make sure that it is still acceptable. The desk is picture, but I don't think any of us have a good sense of the estimated weight. The shipment can't arrive any earlier than July 5th, but other than that, the pickup and drop-off is flexible. Would $700.00 for this still be possible? Thanks again for all your help.
