I saw your posted dates. However, I will be in your area Jan 19 and then headed east. If we can do it then I will place a bid. I live in Northeast Ga. and can board your horse until your desired delivery date. Let me know what you think. Click on my user ID for a photo of my rig and feedback.

Response: Thank you for responding so quickly given the holidays. Yes, Jan. 19th would be fine. In fact, it might be better to get him there and a bit acclimated before we arrive. I have two different stables that my husband will be re-checking for me. One is in Oak Ridge, NC and the other is in Stokesdale, NC (about 10 mins north of Oak Ridge, NC). The one is Oak Ridge is finishing the barn our horse would go into around the 15th, so I just need to confirm that it is done. I will have a confirmed location (one of the two) within the next week. Would you be able to tell me what you would charge to haul? Thank you very much!12/29/2006

I'm being transfered to NC and we want to take Magnum (the horse) along, but cost is an issue. He's not an expensive horse, and we haven't had him long, but still, my 10 year old loves him and we want to move him to help my daughter with her transition. Any chance for a price break? We expect to arrive in Oak Ridge NC around January 27 or 28. My wife would be here in Fresno for the loading on the 19th or 20th, but I will be near Oak Ridge that week. I plan to meet with two stable owners on January 15th to choose one. We can confirm a delivery date at that point - if the stable owners are okay receiving Magnum without us being there, then you will have the option of dropping Magnum off prior to our arrival in Oak Ridge (based on your easiest travel schedule). I hope this makes sense and is workable. We also have friends in Oak Ridge who could be there when Magnum arrives too. Thanks.
