Response: Will you come down considerably if I provide fuel for the trip? The vehicle to be towed has about 170 gallons of fuel. I broke down 40 miles after filling up in W.Memphis, AR. Fuel level in truck is not important, as I am putting the truck up for sale as is. Just trying to salvage anything amidst all the money I've poured into the truck over last 18 months. (4/28/2008)

Response: I will consider your new bid. The truck for sale is a 1997 Freightliner Century with double bunk sleeper. I am 2nd owner. Before that, it was part of the CR England fleet. I've had it since Feb 2002. In last 18 months I've replaced some transmission gears, all fuel injectors, clutch, alternator, new batteries, air bags, a/c compressor. PM service every 15000 miles. Right now it needs new bull gears and an air compressor($4800). I am selling for $8000.00. It has a value of 15000.00 in working condition. I'll post ad and pics when I get it home. (4/29/2008)
Response: I will keep my ears open for someone lookin, The truck market is doing crazy things right know, however those trucks should get better fuel milage than most. I get about 8mpg empty but loaded I drop to around 4mpg in my wrecker (4/29/2008)
